That thought crossed my mind at first but I stopped myself. He indicated he is older and overweight; I have a coworker who had a heart attack when he was only 53.

I actually used to wonder if certain guys I saw in kbars (even thought he said he stopped going) might be him; you know, like when you imagine what someone might look like.

When was his last post? Perhaps after a couple of months from them (or whenever it is apparent he really isn't coming back), we should have a memorial drink at a K/V/SB for him! Maybe scrawl "Long Live Kap!" in the bathrooms, LOL! (fo' real though!)

How about that memorial at all the bars, amps, and streets. We all wear a CAP for the KAP and raise a toast in his memory. Maybe by setting a day and time for the mongers. Fuck I'd raise a glass to him screw it if you look at me funny. Da braddah was cool

Kap always steered me right when it came to 40+ providers, except this one time I gave a less then average review for a girl he highly rated. He pm'd me to tell me he was surprised by my experience, and that he had to go down to CHM to try her again to see what I was talking about. Pm'd me two nights later to give me his findings. That's a man who puts stock in his reviews. QC at it's finest. I was blown away.

On both this forum and the "other" forum his last log in was on the same day early last month. Not like him to just stop. Sad to say but we might have lost a brother.

I always wondered what Kapalua meant in Hawaiian. Looked it up in the Hawaiian dictionary and found the literal meaning of "kapa" labia, and "lua" hole. Seems appropriate for Kap. Sure wondering what happened to him. I hope nothing serious, if so, God bless.

Wherever he is, I bet he is happy. He seemed to be in good spirits posting about what the birdies told him, and the fairies, and a skip in his step, and song in his heart, stuff like that.

When he get's back (think positive), He's got some splainin to do.

I don't post often, but I try to keep up. I went on vacation for over a month and never checked in. Hopefully that is the case here.

I'll go for Jimmiedean's idea.

"Long Live Kapalua" is better than "Yoboslayer" that used to be in a lot of the kbar bathrooms. I'd have to be pretty drunk and pissed at a ROB to do that, though. Well, I don't think Kapalua would want us doing that though (or anything that wasn't gentlemanly).

We all know he had a lot of good things to say, so maybe a good way to remember him would be to apply his advice and principles. Personally, I would like to see less petty bickering on this forum.

Bruddah, don't butcher the Hawaiian Language. I understand you wanting to make the relationship of his name, and on a humorous note, I had a chuckle. Kapalua is an ancient Hawaiian name that translates to "Embracing the Sea". I'm not flaming you, I just had to keep the name in line with what it really means. What i think you may be referring to, labia hole, is "peo".

I totally agree with the last half of your post. I hope nothing serious happened to him.

Hopefully, Kap just went on vacation or something. I'm already looking forward to reading about all the adventures he had while he was gone. We miss ya buddy!
