I agree.
LE doesn't set SW'S up in apt's to arrest mongers on a Misdemeanor charge.
LE does set up female vice officers on Ridgewood and they reel in boatloads of mongers just by standing on a street corner.
I don't think we are hearing the whole story here.

Well, there is one other possibility here. The couple is exploring a new fetish or fantasy and have not gotten into it fully. He said in his report that LE picks up a SW on Ridgewood and sets her up in an apartment---Ridgewood is the stroll in Daytona, unlike bridgeport where the whole town is the stroll, one of the nastiest cities in the U.S.A., reminiscent of Detroit.
To my knowledge and it is formidable, I have never heard of LE in Daytona or Orlando doing a Craigs List john sting. They have busted girls on C/L by setting up detectives in motel rooms in Daytona, Jacksonville did a John sting a while back and got a coach and a couple of medium profile locals, so it is a possibility.
In this case "Amber" is advertising every day and no noise of a bust, no Chris Hanson, nothing on TV or newspapers or C/l or this forum. So I'm led to believe there is nothing there at all but a girl trying to make a buck.---VS

1st of all I have been reading the forum for a long time but post very rarely. That being said, I set an appointment with Jenna last night but never met her. Things just seemed wierd. I get there and "she needs a few more minutes to finish getting ready" and tells me to wait at the burgerking and she'll meet me there and then go back to her room, now I didn't park in the burgerking as I have a very distinctive car and things just didn't seem right to me. I parked close by and walked around a little bit but didn't see any marked or unmarked LEO. About 5 or 10 minutes later she calls me and asks what kind of car I'm driving she'll walk over meet me and we can walk back to her room. By this time I'm just not liking the whole situation and decided it was better to just get the flock out of there. This may have just been something wierd but better safe than sorry.

If you did you made the right choice. But only if acts were mentioned along with a price. Were acts mentioned in any of her ad's?
Sometimes your own paranoia takes hold and it's not your gut advising you but your own fear that converts to paranoia.
How would I have handled it?
I would have done what you did, reconed the perimeter, parked next door etc. But I would have invited her into the Burger King saying I was really hungry "would you join me, we could have a quick bite and get comfortable with each other" Then stay outside, look for unusual activity, follow her in , introduce yourself , get the burger, sit in a corner or go with her to the bathroom tell her you want to get the LE check out of the way. Then leave, go to her room and have the party.
If it is a sting, she won't come to the Burger King she will try and talk you into the trap.
She offered to come to your car at the Burger King so she was willing to leave the room, stings are very organized and leave very little to chance---My take-no sting.
The few minutes to get ready is not unusual, perhaps she was just finishing up from an appointment.
LE stings in hotels are not usual at 10 at night it adds another variable that affects officer safety. Detectives and undercover don't work much at night and it is to close to shift change at 10 PM to process you thru the system and leave on time and the dept.. is not going to pay overtime on John busts.

I have seen Jenna a couple of times. She ask me to meet her at the Burger King. Due to her wanting to have discretion of her in call location. Which is understandable. She came over there to meet me. We went to her in call location. Which was a house on the beach with a beautiful view of the ocean. We agreed on a price over the phone. There was no dos and donts over the phone that was discussed in person after the "roses" were out of the way. She was wonderful. She is very accommodating to your needs.
