Winter Chill Sightings In OTR & UPH
This pass week was a cold one and not much for pickings but a few diehard SW's out on the streets. Hopefully the warm weather will bring more out.
However, about over forty girls are in lockup for soliciting and drug charges that it will be several weeks to three months before we see them back out.
I just recently went through the Hamilton County Sheriff Office Inmate site checking out all the girls listed. That's a lot of girls taken off the streets. Also saw two of the .60 dollars girls were caught in the last 10 days. The ones out on the streets now are your basic price girls .20-.25 for BBBJ.
I also saw in the Sheriff's site the "Cincinnati Union Bethel Organization" has a "Off the Street Program" for the SW's. Heard about this awhile ago but here is an article about it with familiar pictures of OTR with SWs.

According to the article, if you are arrested for soliciting a prostitute in the city of Cincinnati you pay a $500 civil fine and your car is towed away. Most of you probably knew this. Plus you go to "John" school for a 8 hour class.
What is funny about the article is the information on where you can drive to find SWs in Cincinnati.
Here are 3 pictures of this weekend of some brave girls working out in the cold. Treat them well, they're working hard in this damn cold.
Keep safe out there.

What's goin' on in OTR these days?
I ran into a guy I know last night at the corner bar. He said he was down in OTR during the afternoon. Sounds like there were a couple new faces but nothing worth the time.
Thin waify bsw on upper Elm with her man. Hard to judge her looks all bundled up but he looked like an extra from the movie "I live to kill". Sounds like he was giving looks that definately were not helping her business.
The guy drove down McM and there was an interesting new wsw hanging at the rainbow but, for reasons discussed below, he said he decided to drive on by with just a smile and a wave.
The most interesting thing that he mentioned was city LE sitting in the church parking lot on McM/Race. It was just a stroke of luck that he saw them because they were sitting back in the lot behind a couple/three other cars. They were parallel with McM with their back facing the building. Sounds like they were tucked away pretty good. He spent the time driving from Race to Vine trying to figure out why they would be buried back there where they couldn't see anything. It got much more obvious when he got down to the light at McM/Vine when he said he just glanced into his side mirror. They were perfectly lined up to have a clean view all the way up McM but you'd never know it was an LE car from what he could see.
Not sure if the wsw at the rainbow was part of anything but he said he wasn't taking any chances. She sure didn't look "too good to be true" and she was just hanging versus working hard to get guys to pull over. She also looked a little out of it so this guy concluded she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time but he wasn't going to join her in that issue.
As the guy got up to leave, he looked at me and said "now you know why I always drive the neighborhood before I stop for anyone". Then he turned and in the blink of an eye was gone. I thought "chit - if this were a movie, Sam Sheppard would be that guy and the credits would start rolling now".
Anyway, that's what I heard about OTR.
Have a great day.

Church Lot LE at McM and Race... Indeed!
Dweezil: Your friend was right on, from what I have heard from an acquaintance of mine. My acquaintance said he has seen LE in the church parking lot on a regular basis for years! But your friend's observation is one worth noting.
I did a little Google Earth research, and the attached image shows how right he was. Of course, most mongers know that the block of McM between Race and Vine is just about the hottest spot in OTR, at least until recently. And yes, your friends advice sounds RIGHT ON THE MONEY: Cruise the neighborhood to run your LE radar.
Thanks for the valuable post.

That has been LEO main spot during the beginning of operation Vortex. With spring just around the corner, expect more sighting of LE at this spot and others.
I've included some pictures of the view from the ground. Thanks Giani for the aerial shots but I wanted to show what it looks like when you're driving down the street on McMicken. Also some other pics of where LEO hangs out.
Keep up the good work guys and start thinking more of what LEO may be doing to set traps.
Keep your eyes open

The View To Watch Out For Part 2

You'll see a view looking down westward toward the church parking lot with the yellow arrow pointing to where LEo parks.
Then a shot going the other direction from the rainbow corner with a view from the rear view mirror showing the parking lot. LEO has a clear view all the way to the corner. They can see all cars and people at Vine and Findlay corner.
Also at the Imperial building corner is another spot LEO will park at the far west end of McMicken and Mohawk Street. There has been a lot of activity at that corner but the SW's hanging out there are not worth the stop lately.
Then at the east end of McMicken street I see LEO park there near the Corner store.

McM parking lot view, part 3. And Spring hits OTR
Nice pix Harpo. I too was in OTR over the weekend, and took the attached picture from the back of the church parking lot showing the view all the way to the hottest intersection in the city: Vine, McM and Findlay.
I spoke with R****l this weekend (she is back! Seems healthy, contrary to competing SW reports to the contrary last year). She said SWs are very aware of the LE surveillance from the parking lot. By the same token, I wonder why so many SWs STILL stroll in clear view on McM...
BTW, never before have I been SO careful to make the entire cruise loop to assess the LE surveillance situation before taking any action. A word to the wise.
Giani
P.S. In spite of PMs from respected members of the board, I have never seen any stroll candidates near the Imperial. Seems fertile territory, but... Have you?
P.P.S. I compliment the Cincinnati USASG board for the quality of posts--minimum (zero) posts of professional pix from CL etc, and rich information-containing posts. Keep up the good work!
