I am really sorry to hear that happened to you. I despise sting operations of any kind. They are just about making headlines and getting more funding from the federal government, they have nothing to do with protecting anyone or stopping crime.
Some tips to help anyone who unfortunately walks into one of these situations:
1) If an age is revealed like that up front it is ALWAYS Uncle. ALWAYS. No if and or maybes about it. They have a strict playbook -- they need to make sure the evidence is admissible in court and is as unambiguous as possible. They need to ensure that you acknowledged that age and continued to move forward or else they don't have a case. Digital evidence, maintaining chain of custody, and proving your intent are all the name of the game. They are trained to get you caught up in the moment, impulsively reply, and trigger your worst instincts -- do not fall for it.
2) If they hit you with that dreaded age text, make sure to clearly state you are not interested. Do NOT just leave the convo without a response. Make it clear as day you have no interest in anything illegal like that, and reiterate that the ad said they were 18+. Even ask if they need help in the rare case it is an actual HT type situation although it's very very rare since a trafficker likely wouldn't be as stupid to be as obvious as a LEO sting but still a possibility. But if they are trafficking they will certainly get busted and when they do and LEO reads their messages they need to see that your convo was not contributing to it.
3) If you have any doubts, make another burner number and make another inquiry. Uncle will likely tell you a completely different story. They told one guy here they were helping the girl get started. I can guarantee you they will tell another person something completely different. They just make up BS on the fly thinking your small head will be doing the thinking and you won't notice the huge holes in their stories.
4) Pause and really think about every response. Don't let the small head run the show. Imagine the transcript of your convo being read in court and how it will sound to a jury and how it will portray you. 90% of the time they will only arrest those that show up at the destination, getting 5-10 arrests is enough for them to have a news story. But the other 10% of the time, they will go after anyone that requested nude pics, sent nude pics, made explicit comments about what they wanted after learning the age. For that 10% of the time it depends on how much resources they have to trace numbers, IP addresses, etc. You see this a lot in Florida and Texas*where some local sheriff's have made it their Modus Operandi to be known as Sting Czars because they love the media attention and self aggrandizing that comes with it. Bottom line: keep your convo clean and off ramp as soon as possible, do NOT engage with these idiots.
5) These sting ads run in coordination with STG and other sites. The sites have LEO Portals that let LEO directly login, posts sting ads, and run stings. I even read one case where the LEO Portal on STG was directly citied.

The next flag is getting you to explicitly ask for what you want in graphic detail and agree on a price for the act. In my case I tried to use abbreviations like QV and BB like always and the officer decoded it and wrote it back to me in question form asking if I was agreeing to 15 minutes bareback vaginal sex for $60. That was the next flag that the prices were way too low for the current market. The location was a flag like I said before it was in an area and a hotel that I had never known for mongering to take place and it was not far from a WFPD training station. The last flag of course was specific instructions about parking upon arrival. "Go to the back park by this kind of vehicle. I'll meet you and then introduce you to the girl.
