Thanks for clearing that up Slim. There's plenty of talent Downtown, and I've had more than a few memorable experiences down there. I remember one SW telling me that the TVs weren't allowed down that far. I'm guessing its an unspoken rule they have. From my experience, it seems that Thursday through Saturday nights are the best times to monger this area, and the talent usually hits full force after 11:30. Other nights can still produce some talent, but it usually has to be later on in the night or wee hours of the morning. The cost has kept me from frequenting the other loops as much, but I consider it a treat to get a Downtown worker every now and then. Just note that many will not want to venture far away. It's like a law amongst them. I've gotten a few to come with me back to my apartment, but the pricier alternative is to hit the Midtown Hotel on St. Paul below Read Street for $50/hr. Snag a girl for $70-$80, pay the $50, you still have an attractive SW to spend some time with and you're still under the price of an escort or even a handjob from your favorite strip club (some of the girls are off-the-clock Blockettes anyway). If you live close by or you convince a girl to go to your place, or even better, she has a place, you're really doing good.

A left on Bloomingdale/Clifton and a right on Garrison would have led you to some SWs. It's probably a good thing you didn't find them. You don't belong that far north with your lack of experience.
