There are several types of both rings and cinches. Rings are usually a standard size whereas a cinch is adjustable. Both are intended to slow blood flow out of the penis extending erection time and hardness. If not needed for ED therapy, I'm not sure what the purpose is other than perhaps to have a cute little glowing glob or a little vibrating trinket wrapped around your manhood. Folks with ED to varying levels may find them useful to maintain an erection. But keep in mind, ED may be caused by a lot of different issues. You can or cannot get it up, OR you can get it up but it won't cooperate and stay up, OR both. ED pills are designed to increase blood flow to get it up. But don't guarantee it will stay up. Pills attempt to overcome the body's inability to have enough blood flow to rise. But even so, situational awareness will overpower the pill (e. G. LEO patrolling the area, too much to drink, drugs, fugly, stinky, etc.) These issues may keep the rise away or even impact blood flow out of the penis. There are physical reasons as well. I've tried both, and now prefer the cinch. My situation is both physical and mental. I'm over 70, and have war wounds which now aging are impacting me physically. I can get up, but staying up for any reasonable time is a challenge. I lost one nut, and 80% of my prostate, dealt w / a lot of nerve damage in my groin, and apparently valvular damage in the penis. That means the little valves close but not sufficient to keep blood in. Valve leakage.

Putting on a cinch nice and snug just as yore getting up will keep the blood where you want it. Trust me, you'll get a hard and fat cock with veins popping up everywhere. You've got about 20 minutes before things get uncomfortable, less if pain tells you to stop. And my partners when I've used it tell me the gentle slapping of the two loose ends against their lips turns them on.

And personally, having been to medical school, but not a practicing doc, I worry about creating blood clots. Here is an example of a cinch made-up at the VA center. I've never seen one in an adult store or on-line.

Items were readily available there but materials can also be found at most hobby stores. I strongly recommend you presize the upper rubber loop before you put it in place with the bead on the bottom. You can grab both tails and pull really tight and push the bead up, but practice first. Getting skin or hair caught in the bed is damn uncomfortable.

Practice in private first, find your best tightness and time it's placement as you watch the change.
