While I would prefer the phone number to have an Arizona area code (like 520 or 602), people can move across the country and they'll just keep their original cell phone numbers, so a non-Arizona area code isn't as big of a red flag for me as other things. But when an ad says to contact them on WhatsApp or Telegram or OnlyFans (or all three!) That's a huge red flag. I agree that slick professional looking photographs also give me serious pause, especially when the scenery in some of the photos is clearly not Arizona (e. G. , she's at a beach). Another red flag for me is a QR code. If the ad has a QR code or an OnlyFans link, they want you to subscribe to something or buy their content. The person is probably real (although AI is getting scary realistic) but they are not in Tucson and you will never meet with them in person. Another red flag phrasing is when the location says something like "in your city" or "by the airport". This is someone who has posted the same ad in a dozen different cities, so they need the generic phrasing so it works everywhere.
