I'd highly advise against mongering in this area of town right now. Way too many UC LEO's in non-customary vehicles stopping everyone in the area. Got pulled over with a girl in the car but luckily got off.

The best alternative right now is Lane. In fact Lane is literally the only thing going on right now and it'll probably dry up again in the near future.

The more they pressure, the less people will want to live here. It's sad.

They get regular performance reviews in which their boss asks them why they don't make more arrests. And that's because the real powers in Jax, the Baptist churchs, are asking the top cop why HE isn't arresting more people. Therefore, They have to make it look like they work somewhere besides donut land security so they have to make more busts.

Now, if you're a cop crusing up Phillips highway, and your choice is bust a streetwalker that you know hocked her false teeth for rocks and will never own a gun, OR bust one of the local gangbangers who probably has enough stolen guns in his trunk to arm a narco army, which one do YOU bust. Hell yes, your wife will be real disappointed if you go home dead. So the strippers going to get strip searched and you get extra bust points on your performance review. There was Marnie, Elaine, Norma Jean and a few others in town that were dependable providers. (Norma is a strange one, but she does understand how people dream at times.) Granted none of those were "streetwalkers" but massage was a gateway to oblivion in some form or another.

However, as long as Ashley Street can be blocked off on Sunday morning and Wednesday nights so no one gets hit by the multitudinous traffic downtown, this will not change. The people elected to represent the city as a whole do not represent the city as a whole, just the microcosm of 10 to 15 thousand people that control the lives of the 700, 000 thousand that live in the "bold", maybe it is actually the "bland new city of the south"? What people believe is their business, but to control so much of what happens in the city is a sad thing for all living in the area.

Who would want to convention in this city? No one, it is not much fun to be here.

What is close to the convention center? Not much in the way of anything of interest.

With some luck the people that want to enjoy their "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness", should go to the voting booth and make the city more friendly to those that might want to enjoy this "jewel" that is set in a "Cracker-Jack" mounting.

A hobbist has almost as much hassel with the cops, as he has with pimps. Pays to be careful but what a shame when all we want is a little attention to our needs

I had an itch that I couldn't scratch. I started to drive to my normal stress relief place, but just wasn't feeling like the usual.

I started driving around areas recommended. As I was driving, I saw a nice bodied, but worn-faced girl walking with a backpack at the wee hours of the night and talking to a few cars at the gas station at Beach and University. I turned around, but lost her. Knowing the area a bit, I drove up University and saw her again. Stopped at a gas station, turned around and lost her again. Being persistent and curious, I followed University further and saw her walking on the bridge. I pulled into a neighborhood, turned around and waited for her at the stop sign. Asked her if she needed a ride. Her name was Sarah. She got in, I headed to where she instructed and the rest is history. No digits as I was nervous. Hoping to see her again some time.

Yesterday around 3:40, I was driving down PH around the PPH store and three WSW's were huddled together. One was Roni, a late 30's maybe 40's SW that always professionally dresses like she just left an office. She is very high priced for PH, but works hard for the money. The 2nd girls had a killer body as far as I could tell. Mini brown dress on, long blonde hair, everything was great except the face. Kinda rough. The third seemed a little heavy, but couldn't see her face or front profile.

By the time I I turned around and headed back, they were gone. They must have gone in the store, and I was late for an appointment, so I turned at left, but 3 at one time on PH is a record for me, like finding an Unicorn eating a four leaf clover LOL.

Hopefully others can have better luck finding them.

I did the west side stroll today around 5: PM Blonde spinner SW sighted at mini mart on lane and I 10 one block north of the Hess. She was acting wild and dancing in the parking lot. She looked ok but I passed. I didn't need the comotion. I toured 131st to California. I had no luck there. I looped back to Lane and Ramona. I found Sherri WSW 40 something. She travels in from Marietta in the evenings. Hardened face but not unattractive with a spinner type of body from too many drugs and too few meals. Offered BBBJ. 2. CFS offered for. 4. One hour. 5. Had a place in notell nearby. She is friendly and aims to please. She does smoke during session. I'm willing to exchange digits. PM me for details

Both of these cats are in a major city in the midwest, not here in JAX, but I really don't think the psychological make-up of an officer varies that much across the country, so it would seem to apply to JAX as well. One is a close relative, the other a friend I've known since grade school. I've ridden as a guest in their patrol car numerous times, and both, at one time or another, worked their city's equivalent of north Main, and both during 3rd shift. (Neither knows about my 'hobby', of course!) Both are adrenalin junkies, pure and simple, and when questioned, profess no real joy, pleasure, or even interest in harassing SWs and mongers.

Now don't get me wrong, they don't support our sport by any means, but both said remarkably the same to me one time when I gently probed their thoughts on the subject. In both instances, they said they'd MUCH rather be doing exactly what Ron, above, says they SHOULD do. That's chase the bad guys with guns. They told me they are occasionally forced by neighbors calling in to the police dispatcher to stop the overly eager P4P Worker out in the street, flashing and waving at every car driving by and making a spectacle. But they hate wasting time with that kind of crap and they actually enjoy running down pitch black alleys with guns drawn after a report of an armed break-in. I've seen them do exactly that a couple of times and I didn't even want to get out of the damned car!

So no, I'm not a defender of LEOs in general, and I've had my fair share of close calls and run-ins with 'Jacksonville's finest', and there are, no doubt, some very different ideas about prostitution within any group working men and women charged with protecting the streets of the city. But from my experiences and yes, limited research, running down the real criminals is what most of them seem to live for.

PH on wed night: There continues to be a high LEO presence in this area. Not good. LEO is traveling in packs of 2, one trails really far behind the other. The front one passes you and the back one tails behind. Noticed this happen 3 times. Spoke with a fellow monger to see if he had luck out there last night and he confirmed the same situation.

Lane: I tried Lane early last night (between 9-10). Didn't spot a soul which was wierd. Again. High LEO presence.

Mayport: Late last night (1-2 am) saw the same PREGO SW that I've reported on in the past. Didn't feel like re-visiting but that didn't matter because high UC LEO (white slickback) presence prevented that.

Timaquana / 103: no new data here. Haven't felt like venturing out this way. Any info will help.

Arlington / sin city is about all that is left and that's hit or miss. Lots of trial and error there. No real rhyme or reason in landmarks where I find SW's around there. SW's there are very few and far between.

Saw a WSW in her early 20's. Nice looking. Maybe a 6-7 on the standard scale. I was on my way to cocktails, gave me the look but I did not partake. Not my bag.

I rolled Main a little after 6 last night from US 1 to to the bridge (headed out of J-ville) in the big rig only saw one not much going on LEO wise either. I wasn't really looking for action just taking a stroll as time was limited, that area has been good in the past but in a big rig you kinda stand out which makes things a little more of a challenge.

Its been pretty dead lately I think its because heavy LEO presence and cold weather. Been hunting everyday for a week only found 1 regular that I usually see besides her I've seen a few worn SW. I've been hitting the Lenox area for awhile its starting to look like the NS (more leo then SW) even tried drifting over to Cali no luck. I might have to try to drum up some numbers in my phone which sucks, because we all know these can't keep a phone.
