I really don't think it's the matter of a pocket full of bank notes in most cases. It does help with the upper class of providers but I think it's a matter of expressing what you want and if they agree move forward with the interview. If they're not willing to give you what you want, be prepared to walk away. I have had great interviews with average providers with average rates or even a bit lower than the norm. I always take a few moments to explain my needs BEFORE I just drop a bundle of cash. So I can get a feel of where the session might be going. It's key to be able to determine that in the first moments of meeting and after the Bobby check is complete.
I agree that there isn't a lot around as far as choices and I hope it gets better as the weather warms up and summer is upon us.
