Hotel AND go straight through Alakea to an eventual right turn on Richards Street.

Neither here nor there, late night traffic is definitely rare and it isn't a heavily trafficked thoroughfare even during the day. I completely agree that the risk of suspicion / traffic-stop isn't worth the ride. There occasionally have been women on the bench at the Adams Lane outlet to S. Hotel but earlier in the evening only and I've never seen providers. Remington and its neighboring glass building on Alakea seem to share the same security company who regularly patrol (not to mention LE cruising down Hotel St.

When entering Adams Lane from Bishop Street, a driving monger passes two signs that both clearly say [B]"NO Access Onto Hotel Street"[/B]. Then there's a sign at the juncture of Adams Lane and Hotel Street that prohibits a right turn, but doesn't specifically authorize a left turn (onto the traffic lane that's on the other side of the roadway). So to help avoid any potential contact with the police during pussy patrols, personally I won't be making any turns onto Hotel Street from Adams Lane (smile).

I've been using Adams Lane twice daily for 3 decades (hitting the stop-sign in front and behind motorcycle LE who also use that route) but that's during "acceptable hours".
