Back in September of '09 many of you may remember I was in a near-fatal auto accident that kept me off of the board for six months. Speculation ran wild that I had met the same fate as Kapalua. Anyway, I am finally back as close to 100% healthy as I will ever be. On the flip side now that I have my health, my finances have become a major concern to me.
This past fall I received a HUGE payment for past work that was owed me for several months. Of course, with Monica and Coco back in December, checking out many other girls in September, October and November, and taking a trip to Manila and fucking myself silly, I went through about half of that money! I had to take the remaining funds and put it in a place where it would be safe from my mongering ways; but be accessible through some bit of effort for my real living needs.
I will continue to read the board and of course be available via PM, but won't be mongering as I did before. To be as cash poor as I have been for the last four or five years, and then to blow though what should have been a very comfortable cushion in my finances has awakened me. I think this year I am going to look into getting help with this addiction. I am going to try to limit my visits to once a month, then once a quarter. I will see if I can adhere to that before seeking professional help. I don't want to quit, but rather limit my experience in the "provider" industry. I could never quit. I want to be realistic.
I wish you all well, and in no way am condemning the hobby or anyone at all. But rather finally realizing that I cannot participate anymore or else I will wind up homeless. It's amazing when I think of my situation in the late-'90s through mid-'00s. I had expendable income and thought that it would never end. Best of luck. I know what you mean-I think we are all addicted to a degree. All the money I have spent since learning about AMPs or their derivitives has cost me lots since I started to earn a living. Being conservative- I estimate maybe 260G, basing on a quarter of a century, which if put in regular savings would have bought and paid for a nice house. If I started back when. Luckily not married or have a SO, so expenses can be wasted.
But I look at it also like well if I invested in the stock market-half of it would be gone-hehe.
Thats why I am glad I found this board so that I don't get blue balls and only go when there is a girl I must see. What helps is when these girls (favs) all go on vacation and to busy. Also made a promise not to go when my favorite pro football team was winning only losing (do you know how hard that is-literally and figuratively?). Anyway, save your money and recover. I've just returned and will be giving all of your recommendations a try. And after reading them I suppose staying some what sober would help a lot. And definitely limiting their nekos will be in the near future. I've never heard of the "home champagne" line will have to give that one a go in a few.
