It's obviously a scam but Michigan's age of consent is 16. So her being 17 doesn't mean a thing. Google is your friend.

I know this scam and I wasn't worried but they are getting a little bit better except for they made one or more mistakes. They did use a local police officers name which was smart, but they mispronounced it LOL. And it was a white police officer, and he could tell it was an African-American male that was calling and left the voicemail.
And yes, also I know the age of consent so they're not even smart enough to figure that part out plus I highly doubt the picture of the person they used on Seeking definitely did not look like they were under 18 but whatever.

It was definitely a scam, though, unless there's a local election coming up, I doubt they're on sugar baby sites trying to entrap guys.

Pretty much exactly what the message says, not something you did.
If the link was posted here, it's possible a bunch of guys have reached out to her and maybe that's reason why she's off the site.
