Really dead earlier tonight
Most exciting thing was the 10 PM accident on 34th Street at 7th Avenue north. After 2 hours all I saw was Tina and Brittany at Haines and 50th, one skinny thing on 34th at 6th Ave and an unknown behind the Hess. Thank God for the ladies who have their phones.

Wednesday night harlot patrol
I was out for a few hours between 10 pm and 1 am and they were out. Not many, but 34th between 58th Ave and 50th had side street lizards and a few brave 34th Street prowlers. Sheriff was very active, but they were still working. Also was happy to see a few by Hess area in the vicinity of WaWa. Further south there were more on 34th between 5th and 15th Ave's North. Also saw ancient, prehistoric 40 yo ladies Laurie and Tina. Tina on Haines near 54th and Laurie on 57th Ave just east of 34th Street. At 1 am I saw a nice hottie on 34th at 6th ave, Wanted to get her, but po po was driving past. She then disappeared into either the Days Inn or Budget??
What has happened to the Burg?
Okay I admit that sometimes the pickings can be slim but see'Mon. Man! Zip, ziltch, nada in St Pete this morning! It's the time of day when room rent is due and all along 34th from Central to up to Egg Platter, Haines, 4th from 84th down to 5th, across 9th, just nothing. Didn't even see much of Uncle LEO around. Are our strumpets out on strike over the City Council's vote on the Rays?
I plan to try again tonight and will post any successes.
I'm not overly fond of the Tampa stroll but may have to consider heading across the bridge if things don't improve!

Recon mission. Two resulting inquiries
So, I went out for a couple of hours late Saturday night (Sunday morning) right about 3 am when the bars close. Two different locations, two providers of interest.
First, a 5'9"-ish blonde, early 20's, long hair, thin. Hanging out on the side streets near the Cactus. She looked a little strung out, but she looked cute. I almost scooped but there were THREE of us trying for her at the same exact moment. Pickings were pretty slim out there, so when we all saw her, we pounced! I was in the best position to pick her up, but I passed and one of the other mongers did the scoop. Anybody know anything about about this one? I'd like to know if I should scoop or not if I see her again.
Second sighting. A rarity. I saw a middle-aged Asian chick get picked up on 4th St near 73rd area (actually it was right by the laundry mat, what ever cross street that is). Is there really an Asian walker out there or did I witness this girl getting a legitimate ride?
I did see a couple other girls out, but nothing worth reporting.
Not much out there in St. Pete these days. Almost thinking about heading to Tampa for my mongering activities.

Since he was previously the Chief of the Clearwater PoPo he is bringing the same methods and tactics of aggressive street patrols and community policing that was used in Clearwater, this including random stops of anyone suspicious and activly seeking snitches from the community.
This drives alot of the providers to move from the streets to the backpage, if you know what I mean.

Opiate addicts are especially trying to both avoid being dope sick and to recreate their first experience with heroin or pills. They will likely begin by taking a pill or snorting some heroin. Before long they're doing the IV thing and that creates a number of potentially dangerous side effects. Rarely will an opiate addict decide to go into a hospital; irregardless of how sick he / she might be feeling. Hopefully this unfortunate death will be a wake up call for Brittany??
