I'm slowly returning to action after a long hiatus (first the pandemic, then medical issues. Hey, we all get old, right), and, man, it's definitely not the same pre-pandemic.
Read the first 7 or 8 pages and the first thing that came to mind was that verse from Steely Dan's Midnight Cruiser.
The world that we used to know.

The places we used to go.
Familiar faces that ain't smilin' like before.
The time of our time has come and gone.
I fear we been waiting too long.
