Adventures on the Ave back in July
I never got around to typing this all up, but back in July I had the chance to sample some SW's on Dot, here's the low down in order of appearance:

1st time newbie looking for tips / advice

I came across this forum a few days ago, and it looks like I can enjoy myself quite a bit with the info provided here. I've never been to an AMP or gotten a SW, but I think I'd like to try for BSW. From what I've read, I'm thinking of going on DOT sooner than later to scope-out options. I'd really appreciate advice from anyone who could provide it. I have a few questions:
1) Is there a "preferred"/peak time to go, or just whenever I feel like getting there, the options will be around?
2) For any nods given, is this when you're just directly looking while regularly driving, or do you get nods by slowly traveling or pulling aside?
3) Who should speak first?
4) What's the protocol. Have them enter then travel to work out details or enter, get details situated then off to ultimate destination?
5) Looking to get CBJ from BSW. What kind of damage am I looking at (roughly speaking)? What would I base any tip on?
6) How far away from the initial location should I go when getting this done?
7) Could someone provide me an idea of any good spot I should end up at to get this done? I'd have no problem getting onto the DOT, but wouldn't know where to go from there.
8) Can I get any clues that I should be looking for that will help me avoid any trouble?
9) Am I supposed to return them to originating spot, or once the job is complete, is it an immediate exit?
