Surprisingly, they can usually make more money at the coffee shops than they can stripping, as they are guaranteed to make a bit of money doing their rounds, as opposed to the luck of the draw being on stage at a strip club. Also, the lap dances are usually just as expensive at a coffee shop, if not more, and are usually much more tame in comparison, since at some locations, they will do the dance out in the open. No shenanigans available, so it ends up being safer for them.
So at the end of the day, they make similar or better tips than a strip club. The only draw back is that they often have to do morning shifts.
