(The location you specified, "near Hotel & Maunakea street corner," is very close to the Chinatown police substation with officers going in and out, so it's best to avoid saying anything that could provoke an adverse reaction from her.) Had another sighting of the trio at about 7:15 a.m. today, on the mauka side of South Kukui Street in front of the parking lot for Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Two of them were sitting in one of those small open-air touring vehicles that tourists rent in Waikiki, and the third was standing next to that orange-reddish vehicle. Unfortunately, there were two police cars also parked there, and two police officers were speaking with the providers. The police officers and the providers all had serious looks on their faces. Understandably, I didn't stick around to see the outcome. Then at about 9:45 a.m., two of the providers were still in the same vehicle at the same location (I don't know what happened to the third provider, maybe she was on a date at that time). When I passed by they beeped the horn and called out, but I didn't stop for two reasons. Yesterday morning, the group had expanded from three girls to four girls. As I was driving in the Ewa direction on South Kukui Street, three of them walked out into the roadway and briefly blocked the path of my vehicle in a friendly and playful way.
