But wouldn't that be a huge indicator that its NOT local LEO or scam and more likely an out of towner that's correctly aligned with her non-local area code? Midtown is Glenwood / Crabtree Area. I've heard the term used a lot.

It actually makes a LOT more sense than calling the area "North Raleigh." It was "North Raleigh" 30 years ago but for people who have come here in the last 15 years, it doesn't make much sense considering you drive another 15 minutes north to get to 540 and the true 2013 "North Raleigh."

The N&O has a "Midtown Raleigh News" section, there is a restaurant N. Hills Mall called Midtowne Grill, etc. [url]http://www.midtownraleighnews.com/[/url] People and businesses in the Midtown Area use the term but I can see if it has not spread to the whole county.
