I headed to St. Louis for a party on Saturday, but decided to come in on Friday and make a weekend out of it. Since it is MLK day and I have Monday off, I even thought about staying over Sunday. In the end I left on Sunday morning, since I didn't want to wait for the clubs to open. Is any place open on Sunday for day shift, before 4:00?

Anyway, Friday I rolled into town around 4:00. Went straight to Kitty's and saw some of the same faces that Purleybaker mentioned in his post below. Humphrey was tending bar (his retirement didn't seem to take) and Journey was waitressing. Dynasty, Angelina, Teddy, Nadia, Ice, Katana, Porsche, Ashley, and Nina were dancing. It was really casual for a Friday evening. I was chatting with Nina, who is faily new (two months). While there I met a couple of guys who are known on this and some other St. Louis boards. We chatted about other clubs, and they gave me some good tips for who to see at different clubs I might go to.

I left and checked into my hotel in O'Fallon, then grabbed some food. I headed back to Kitty's to check out the night shift. There were more guys, but fewer women working. Nina was still there, in her civilian clothes. She told me she was hanging with a friend who had just started, and mentioned that more than half of the ladies working that night were new.

I decided to head down to Pyramid of Pleasure. I haven't been there since it was the old Crystal Palace. Inside it looked the same except for no porn on the TVs. When I arrived (around 9:00) there were three guys there and about 12 women. Still, no one came by to say hello. Eventually, Britannia (?) did come and ask if she could sit with me. She was definitely the prettiest one in the place, but she had no personality at all. I kept trying to engage her in conversation but she had no interest in chatting or flirting. We talked about the various rooms and she was quick to tell me that she didn't provide any extras. Still, when there was a 2-for-1 dance I took her to the bed area. As expected, she was kind of a dead fish.

A little later, one of the ladies that was recommended to me showed up. Delilah was the total opposite of Britannia. She was not really my type, physically, but chatty and flirty and fun. In the end, though, she and I parted ways at the end of the night without anything happening.

Saturday afternoon I headed to Dollies where there were quite a few women working. The girls there were pretty much the same as I remembered from every other time I had been there except for one. Ginger is a thin, pretty redhead who looks a lot like Alyson Hannigan, the girl from How I Met Your Mother and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I immediately took her into the private area, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Yeah, she was more expensive than I was expecting at Dollies, and if definitely got the feeling that she would be a major player outside the club, but I didn't really care at that point.

Saturday night I went to a party, but at 1:00 I found myself back in Washington Park. It probably wasn't the brightest thing, but I went back to Dollie's. There was almost no one there, but it was clearly bargain basement night. I got propositioned for private dances that were less than I would give a streetwalker. I was seriously tempted to just close my eyes and let the 45-year old grandmother do her job for $20, I decided to pass. I stopped in at Blondies and Cheeks but didn't want to pay a cover charge at 3:00am. As I headed back to my hotel I passed Main Street. That place was CRAZY busy. The lot was full and people were parking in the adjacent field, and cars were all backed up on the street.

Sunday morning I decided that I didn't want to wait for the evening shifts to start and I headed back to KC. I did get a bunch of numbers of girls for outside the club, but the timing didn't work out this trip. I hope I can come back soon.

I heard this weekend that Blondie's has cleaned up quite a bit. It used to be skanky and reliable, but I can't say for sure now.

Cheeks and Wise Guys are higher end and prettier girls but extras aren't as easy and will be more expensive.

I'm not surprised it was busy late. I went to Soft Touch a handful of times but only late once, also a Saturday, and it was jammed. I predict it will not last and the demise will not be pretty.

This is for KC Questor and Pittsnogle:

KC. Dollies opens at noon or 1 pm on Sundays.

Pittsnogle: If your after extras try Dollies most bang for the $ but the talent may be hit or miss. At Wise Guys and Cheeks your going to pay $50 to the house and whatever you can negotiate for the lady. Extras are available at all these locations to include Blondies but haven't been there for a while so not sure about the talent but again the house fee was $50. At C-Mowes it's also hit and miss. I've been told they raised the fee to the house to $40. 00 and not sure how much time that gets you. Use to be $20 for two or three songs. Last time I was there got the hard sell from two gals thin build on a 10 scale about a 5 or 6. Just not much into the hard sell. Also, Illinois passed a Strip Club bill and the establishments have to pay a head tax of $3. 00 per person or one fee each year to the state if they don't want to collect the $3. 00 head fee.

I have only been at a club when they opened for the day a couple times. Once nobody was ready but I saw several girls in street clothes then naked later. Another time a girl was an early starter and got the worm.

One of the reasons Ginger said she worked there was that she didn't have to worry about fines for being late or not even showing up at all. More than once I've seen girls just get up off the stage and go to do a private leaving no one on stage for the rest of their set. They leave when they want (as I saw last Satruday night when more then half of them were gone at least an hour before closing time). I'm sure they won't be out showing titties at 12:00

1st stop was Dollies. Mistake. Only four girls, Ciera, Jo Jo, Ebony and Trinity. Tempted to see Trinity's tits one day but no chance that I would take a trip behind the beads. Drank my one beer and left. I wasn't even approached. $2 cover during days still.

2nd stop was MK's. Better. Plenty of ladies for a change. Teddie is still there surprisingly. Amanda caught my eye but she was all over this guy with a pony tail. Journey is still running around and she has put on some pounds. She's got fat arms now. No real pressure for VIP. Just girls hustling drinks. Drank my beer and left. BTW. $10 for a beer and cover. Not happy about that. $6 cover for days is bad This place isn't Hustler or Hollywood.

3rd and last stop Pyramid. Not much to speak of besides the cheap draft beer. Had a stage dance from a girl with some baby damage. Didn't catch her name. She was the only one that approached me for drinks and time. Nothing really exciting there as well. It looks like the talent there has fallen. There were plenty of cars there but not many guys. I can't say if something was going down in the theater. No cover charge at all but there's a tip jar at the entrance.

The hustle for drinks has increased and can be overwhelming when it's slow.

I agree, these cover charges during the day are ridiculous. I guess they are needed to weed out the guys who just hang out looking. But considering they pressure you for drinks, they shouldn't worry about a cover. At least have the cover include your first drink, like Dollies used to do.

Just as annoying are the places that charge full cover an hour before closing.

I did realize until talking to a dancer there, they have a minimum of drinks to sell each shift. I understand pushing drinks but having a minimum. Talking about squeezing the dancers, a shift fee, sell drinks and by the way hustle some money for yourself. I give the owner for sqeezing all he can out of the place, but man the atmosphere there is worse than walking on a car lot. You can't relax, every 10 minutes someone asks you about a drink and then when Bob the owner walks in the whole place is on pins and needles. If all the clubs in the areas talent wasn't so down, I'm not sure that I would go there, but I do, I think I hang out with the only dancer there that has never asked me for a drink and she drinks. Anyway.

When broke your broke and might try to keep all the girls from makeing extra money. It is optional, but less heat if they collect and foward on to the state, even in Washington Park and the poorest parts of Illinois.
