So I set up another date with Mariah last night for 10:00 am today. I texted her at 9:15 and said I was OMW. No response. I head that way because NPR has been pretty busy lately and I can always do the stroll if she stiffs me again (no pun intended)! LOL I texted and called her at 10:00 and it goes to VM. This probably made the chief nervous so he decided to pass down orders to make the streets "safer" for its citizens!

An ordinance the New Port Richey City Council approved on final reading Tuesday will end the "revolving door" surrounding prostitution in the city, Councilman Jeff Starkey said.

NEW PORT RICHEY — New Port Richey City Council members have approved an ordinance providing stronger penalties for solicitation for prostitution.

Under the new rules, a first offense under the prostitution ordinance could result in up to 60 days in jail and a $500 fine. Repeat offenses could result in six months in jail and up to $1,000 in fines.

Under the ordinance, police can arrest a repeat offender who attempts to solicit for prostitution by stopping a vehicle or leaves with the motorist.

City police officials last month said the additional regulations would help officers combat problems with prostitution.

Along with the prostitution ordinance, the city council took final action on a chronic nuisance ordinance last week by adopting the same fines as state statute. A few months ago, the city began its special magistrate system to hear these types of cases.

For years, law enforcement in West Pasco has been trying to crack down on prostitution, especially along USA 19 in the New Port Richey-Port Richey area. The undercover enforcement efforts have targeted the prostitutes and their would-be customers.

Past regulations often led to a "revolving door," Councilman Jeff Starkey has said. Starkey has called the proposed ordinance a "great step.

Since April, crime issues have been a primary focus for many New Port Richey leaders.

"The biggest complaint I get is crime in the city," Mayor Bob Consalvo has said.

The mayor estimated that about half of the phone calls, emails and other correspondence that he receives come from residents concerned about crime.

"They're really frightened" to live in or visit some sections of the city, Consalvo said.

Too many places in the city have become hangouts for prostitutes, drug addicts and criminals, Starkey said during an April city council meeting. He said that could stunt efforts to redevelop New Port Richey by attracting more residents and businesses.

The crime issue took on even greater urgency in September when more than a dozen residents demanded changes to "take back the city.

You can find Brooke hangin around the ALT 19 and Orange street area in Tarpon. She starts there around 10 or 11 and then walks ALT 19 to 19 then north.

With so many businesses vacant and / or shut down on US19 you'd think they'd welcome the economic stimulus we mongers provide?! It really ought to be a felony for a nimrod politician to pretend he knows what he's doing when he's really just clueless.

Had some errands to run today after 1:30 and took the stroll South of Ridge, saw maybe 2 or 3 South of the bridge and obviously Holiday is picking up as I saw at least 4 South of Moog. Did not see Mariah but then again she texts me every late afternoon looking for some company.

After speaking with a BP provider a couple weeks ago I am wondering if anyone knows a SW in Hudson named Kim?

I'm posting this here because it's related to the Streetwalker game, if only tangentially. I've known about license plate scanners for some time, but there is info here that my fellow mongers should find interesting. I was unaware that the police were putting license plate scanners on telephone poles.

Here's an excerpt:

In my former city the paper did an article on how local LEO was using their cruiser mounted license plate scanners and the PD information officer swore the data was not stored after a check with DMV. But it's not a stretch to imagine how easy it would be to build a database wherein your driving habits could be analyzed and if this information aroused suspicion you could be subjected to additional police attention or even surveillance.

Anybody got any good reports recently on palm harbor / Tarpon, I live in Dunedin but don't really expect to find anything there.

Did a quick run of the Pasco stroll from Holiday to the bridge. Only saw 2 girls today. I hope tomorrow will be better. The time was around 11 am.

I did the stroll today from Holiday to Hudson. Saw one brunette near the home depot in Holiday. Saw the same hot brunette on 19 that I see every afternoon around 3 pm. She usually has ear buds in listening to music. I woud say shw is a 8 to on 9 the scale. However she seems disinterested and I have been un able to get her attention. If anyone knows who she is please pm me with details. I did have a dream that I met Jewels just before the bridge today around 3 PM. I dreamed that we went to her favorite spot and she provided excellent headache relief. She did ask for .5 but that was negotiated down. She says that she has a place with someone but that didn't seem quite right so I passeed on that location. Other services are available. She gave me contact information. She said the Phone numbers were not hers but that the answerer would be able to find her. Pleasant pesonality, took direction well. Overall a great service. I will repeat. Any information on Jewels would be appreciated. Still seems to be a good supply of available ladies in spite of the new Ordinances. Good Hunting. Stay safe. Jwad1.

As I sometimes do, I was looking around the forum to see what goes on others geographical areas. I found this post where the member has posted over 10,000 photos of SW's! My new hero! LOL.

This would be a big loss to the USASG community. I have sought advise from him in the past and he has been a great help. He will be missed.
