Strip Club Reports

Drove by last week during the afternoon looking to stop in and check it out. Sign out front says they're only open Thurs-Sat 4-close BYOB. Obviously not much happening here at the moment. Saw another sign even bigger out front saying something like we want to move but the mayor doesn't want us to. Went by quick so I'm not sure of if I read it right but it seemed to be something to that effect. I guess the overhead is pretty low, they don't buy any liquor and are only only open 3 nights a week. Rent must be real cheap on the east side because they must be making virtually no money.

I read about a couple of the city clubs looking to move, but there is some zoning issues or something. I think 1 place that people want to move to is really close to Scruples.

Seems like Allure wants to move to a more industrial area, but City Hall won't let them so they are getting the community involved.

Was in your very fine city on a recent weekday and had a sm. Amount of time to kill, so I drove around a bit. By sheer dumb luck I wound up outside of Pleasant Moments, which is probably a bit hard to do by accident as it is out of the way in an industrial area. Was just after noon and I sat there in my car for a few minutes contemplating going in. There were two semi-thug looking guys hanging out by the door, coming in and going out, who probably worked there. A couple ladies were showing up for work and going in (nothing to get too excited about) , but I saw no patrons go in. I realized that the stomach was not strong enough on this day, and I maybe didn't have as much time as I thought, so I took off. Maybe some other time.

Went to Bishop last night around 8:30 looking for a quick fix. Place and girls are way different than the afternoons when I normally visit. Many girls, mostly black, a few Hispanic and one rocking spinner! Most the girls just sitting behind the stage on stools not mingling at all. No one going into the lap dance area. Had one of the girls come over and introduce herself to me. She said her name was "Delicious". Flirted for a but no dance was offered. That hot spinner went on stage and had lots of eye contact and smiles. Threw her a few dollars hoping to get some attention when she gets off stage. Nothing walked right past me not even looking. Not a lot of singles being thown on the stage and no back room lap dances makes me wonder how these girls are making money? Anyway left unsatisfied thinking nights are not the time to visit here. Always get many back room invitations during my afternoon visits.

Bishop's sucks at night now. As RLHDude says, the girls basically sit together in a group on the opposite side of the stage and talk to themselves. They make you feel like a piece of shit if you're just sitting there, but you can't go over to talk to them even if you wanted to. You have to walk all the way around the stage. Way too obvious and too much fucking effort. The only time they get up and say something to a guy is when it's their turn to dance and they want money (one of them asked me for three dollars for music. I'm not cheap, but how about a buck?). Then, if you do tip them (mostly 'because I feel sorry for them because no one is giving any tips) , they walk right by you and say nothing. No more tipping from me, if I even go back.

I am sitting here reading this post, in awe, as to why anyone would want to roll the dice with their life, AND MINE, like this. BBFS seems like a ploy to intentionally or maliciously harm oneself and fellow mongers. You have to know the risk of getting infected with disease is about 100x higher w / o condoms than with, right?

Took a trip into Allure on Friday (it seemed wrong to post this under the Teddies category). Place was fixed up a little and the bar is open. Decent crowd, a few decent girls. Got a few dances from the girls mostly just to get some information, but the dances were also pretty good. The girls didn't know if the VIP would ever re-open, but I did see on their fliers that it says "lapdances & VIP area". So, we'll see. For now, the place continues to be the same kind of place as Scruples but with cheaper drinks.

Went to BC and then PM. Same old, same old. Quite boring unfortunately and I have not been in a while. WTF? Any info on the old Shaker's? It looks open but I see no movement there. Anyone, anyone? Beuller?

OK A report about a waste of time here.

Started in Waterbury from P-A-B to Happys. PAB's was closed, Happys had 4 dancers the bouncer told us.

Me and a friend headed down to B'Port.

1st stop was PM-They were closing up and said the party was over@SHaKRS-went inside and was told there were no dancers tonight.

My friend suggested we head to Scruples so off we went.

On our route we made a stop@BC-terrible waste of space over there. Has to be the worst hole in CT. We had one drink and quickly went on about our business.

Scruples-Very rude people who work there but the chicks are kinda hott if you like saline.

Since I'd never been, I went straight into the place. There was no bouncer or doorman at the entrance.

When I stepped to the bar the bar maid says "You got to go back to the front door" Then she calls the bouncer who comes out and says You got to pay. It was only 5 bucks so I paid for my friend and myself.

I decided to take a gander@the restroom bc nature called. My friend ordered a couple beers and a couple shots.

When I got back I saw two beers and one shot. I asked my buddy, Dude where is the other shot. He says I am waiting for her to pour it.

Mind you, the beer and the one shot there was not touched. When he asked where the other shot was she said she had poured for us already, and, that she doesn't know whether or not someone took it or what. We told her as she can see none of the alcohol has been touched. She eventually said she wasnt sure and actually poured another shot.

I felt like I really couldn't enjoy the scene with the little arrogant short bouncer walking around like he was keeping tabs on customers or the bar maid with her rude attitude. The girls there are Hott but too much plastic for me.

The stage is terribly located w / chairs sitting across the room against a wall w / small tables@several locations. My buddy went to TOFTT and get a dance and was turned down for whatever reason by a couple dancers who looked like they were on a break at the back of the club near the restrooms.

I don't usually get out to Bdgprt and I am sure I probably won't ever go back to either one of these places. Has to be worse than any other places in CT. Not a good Labor Day for hunting.

Not a good Labor Day for hunting.[/QUOTE]Unfortunately the clubs on these types of holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day) are usually dead with hardly any dancers and the ones that show up (if any) are usually pissed off that it's dead and they're working. Scruples has had that attitude for awhile it used to be a fun place years ago but not these days. Being Labor Day the liquor stores were closed otherwise I'd say you guys should have gone to Rubys. The girls are usually a notch below Scruples (not always) but there's usually a few diamonds in the rough and the people there are cool and it's a real chill environment. By far the best club in this area if you don't want to deal with any bullshit (ie cocky staff, overly pushy dancers etc). Eh chalk one up in the L column for last Monday, I too wind up bored sometimes on these holidays especially if the weather sucks and the outdoor stuff gets canceled so naturally you go out to look for a little entertainment but I've learned to expect disappointment on these days. I can only imagine what was at Bishop's on Labor Day. I've drank some of my fastest beers over there. Granted you can occasionally be surprised by something that might be a 7 but as a whole it's bottom of the barrel.

Visited Scruples on Saturday and had a couple of dances with Bianca. Great body and reasonably attractive in dark lighting. I was not able to partake due to my schedule but there were lots of hints from her that she was available. It's unclear what the cost would have been but takeout was definitely on the menu.

The good bouncer was working that day so there was extra contact during the dances. Definitely not a full service place like Shakers or Teddies but still worthwhile at times. My only complaint is that there were a couple of dancers there older than me and I'm not what I would call young. If there can be mandatory retirement for military and police then there should be the same for strippers!

Paris from Rubys and Mystique was confirmed dancing at crazy horse in new haven. She was dancing under the name Jenny.

BRIDGEPORT— One man was fatally shot and another was wounded in a flurry of gunfire in the area of Bishop's Corner bar on Bishop Avenue early Sunday morning, police said.

Officers responding to a report of gunshots at 1:57 a. M. Found Shawn Parks. 37, of the Bronx, and Sherman Perry. 38, of Milford, inside a crashed car at 68 North Bishop Ave. Parks was the driver of the car. He was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the head and had to be extricated from the wreckage. Parks was pronounced dead at Bridgeport Hospital. Perry, the passenger, was wounded in the leg.

At the time of the shooting, Perry was free on $20, 000 bond in connection with two pending criminal cases, including a charge of possession with the intent to sell narcotics.

Witnesses told police the shooting stemmed from an altercation that took place inside Bishop's Corner, across the street from the location of the shooting.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Bridgeport Police Detective Bureau at 203-581-5201. Information will be kept confidential.

What does she look like? I never got a chance to see her in Rubys. Also, any idea as to when she works?

Sounds like the end of last month slowed down Bridgeport quite a bit. Are any of the clubs up and running? PM or Keystone, BC, or anything? Or is it still quiet?

She could have been fed false information so time will tell. A lot of the PM girls are at Shakers which is a little cleaner than PM and has nice doors to the private area. The day I was there, which was a Thursday afternoon two weeks ago, only two familiar faces were working but a couple other good looking Latinas were there. I like this set-up better so I hope PM doesn't open back up and take the girls back.

It's much cleaner than PM was (which I guess is not that hard) and the LD area is much better. I hope they all don't go back to PM unless they did some renovations and it's nice that BC is right up the street just incase.

BC is loaded with girls. Some newer ones if you haven't been in recently, but then you have the usualy suspects as well. One who has been back for a bit is Wanda. I have posted on her in the past. So apparently the festivities have moved back to PM from the Keystone. Haven't been around in a little while, I didn't mind the scene moving to the Keystone it wasn't run down like PM was. So I assume things have died at Keystone and it's biz as usual at PM. I'll have to try to investigate this weekend.

I went to the Keystone a few times and the dance area was in a converted bathroom with blacklighting which was locked and private. But they've re-opened Pleasant Moments now so apparently the girls defected back over there leaving virtually nothing at the Keystone. I haven't been in the Keystone lately it sounds like it's obviously not worth it, have to go back to Pleasant Moments since they're all back there. I don't know why the few girls left at the Keystone are not dancing in private, as your review denotes no one will come here at all if they can't at least get a private dance and even then with what sounds like 2 or so busted dancers even then it's a tough sell. Remember when there was PM, Bishop's, Teddies, Pancho's, Dangerous Curves, R Place man it hurts to think about. Now there's not enough talent to keep two places going. I haven't been in Club Allure (Teddies) but apparently it's the Keepers (Milford) guys that have it now and it sounds like a waste of time. That place needs to return to it's former glory, what a waste. I hope it comes back for Teddies-3rd generation glory years.
