When I did a search for info, I saw others saying that she was good once you got with her. But I don't want to take a chance on being the one guy that once he agreed to a dance, didn't get his moneys worth. And everything about her behavior got my spidey sense tingling and made me wary. All I need is to pay her, get into a booth, then have her throw up rules like no touching.

I work in electronics and did a side job at the PP last week. I upgraded the security video equipment. I always knew they had security cameras, but didn't know just extensive it was. They've got cameras in every single booth, all hooked up to a recorder like you see in milk stores. The old system would bounce from booth to booth recording the whole time. Plus they keep all the tapes. I looked at a couple and low and behold, there's my ugly pus in a booth with a big smile. The pictures were black and white, and the quality not very good (grainy).

The new system has a dedicated machine to each booth and it's in living color. The camera lenses are only the size of a pencil eraser and hard to see. I know I'm braging about my work, sorry. They're actually DVD quality.

The owner (not Jim the manager) says it's to protect the club, the girls, and the customers. If some one has a *****, well let's see what's on the disc. Also LE insisted on the new system, why, damned if I know.

So beware big brother is watching, be safe!

Ok, so you were in their working and you somehow found the time to sift through all of the tapes, find the ones that were recorded on a day that you happened to be there, because, of course, you remember every exact date and time that you ever did a booth at Cheaters....and you found yourself.

So that next time a can cover it. LE also had enough problems with cameras in the PD already; I don’t think they would want to try this in private club.

I really doubt the "owner" was anywhere near this guy - and there's no manager named Jim there. And the idea of LE insisting on the system is ludicrous. So I have to agree with the consensus - that post is pure bullshit.

Check out this story from the prov journal that took place this past weekend. Poe st is the street parallel to allens ave, parking for balloons, cheaters, etc.

The police also are investigating a mugging in front of 101 Poe St. , South Providence, at about 2:30 a. M. Saturday. Xxxxx, 22, of Taunton, Mass. , told the police that he was walking on Poe en route to Club Balloons, 245 Allens Ave. , when some men from among a group of eight jumped him.

His assailants stole $25, his cell phone, ATM card and car keys, xxx reported, and then all eight fled in two white cars. Xxxx’s face was bruised but he declined medical treatment.

There was a guy bitching on SCL today that he got ripped off in the booth by a dancer. When he asked the bouncer to check the camera the bouncer told him that the cameras are not working...

-I was installing a new audio/video system at the owners house (nice in Dean Estates, Cranston), he asks me if I know anything about security cameras. That's how I got the gig.

-He introduced to some guy who he said was the manager, thought he said his name was Jim. 5'10" about 200lbs, thinning hair in a pony tail, looked like he might have been a biker dude back in the day. Probably about my age say early 50s.

-The tapes all have a time tick or DTG imprinted on them, if you know the date and approx time, it's easy to look something up. That's why it only took me a few minutes to look up my booth trip.

-The lenses are located up high near where the ceiling and walls meet, towards the ends. Remember they're small and difficult to see, but you should be able to find them.

-With the new equipment, I don't doubt that some bouncer said that the system was down. He probably doesn't know how to operate it.

-LE wants nothing to do with this place. I think the owner has the cameras to try and prevent problems before they get out of hand.

-Lastly, I was only trying give out some info that I thought you all could use or should know. If, I had known it was going to cause this much trouble, I wouldn't have bothered. SO you believe me if want or not it's your choice.

Ray, I applaud you for a rational response and thank you for being more courteous than myself.

However, the ceiling and walls don't meet in the booths, they end well below it like a cubicle. Perhaps you meant near the top of the walls?

Nice come back Ray though honestly still have my doubts...not that there are cameras but that we have anything to worry about.

First you said LE wanted the new system and now you say they want nothing to do with the club. Which is it?

Secondly, lets say they ARE taping every thing that goes on in every booth seven days a week 365 or so days a year. The tape vault will be the biggest room in the club within a couple of months. I have no doubt that ownership has cameras going-when they can figure out how to use them-for security reasons in case there is any trouble. I can't see how they could be saving the tapes for more than a month or so.

Actually, I don't really care, I haven't done a booth in here in well over a year and don't plan to in the near future...

-Look don't confuse the recorders with the VCRs you have at home. These were commercial units. Instead of running a constant steam, it's more like a bunch of snap shots. Depending on the machine you you can put up to 48 hrs on a standard tape. Feeding the recorder is a switching device, that bounces the recorder from camera to camera. So in the case of a 15 min booth you will only have about 5 min of video. Also the quality of the cameras wasn't that great, the picture quality was grainy and black and white. Look I'm 52, single, no kids, if the quality had been good, I'd probably paid to make a copy.

-As for the cops, weel , for the most part they're lazy. Not fair, they prefer not to deal with any problems at the PP or any other club. The idea behind the video is to prevent any problems from becoming trouble.

-Me, I could care less, if I'm getting recorded. I know a lot of people find it offensive. Was only trying to give a heads up or down. Remember even with the new stuff, the cameras are up high. If you keep your face straight ahead or pointing down, you can't be identified. So don't sit there looking at the ceiling with your mouth hanging open.

-Enough of this crap, was only trying to help. I won't bother anyone again. SORRY

Red light cameras yes, booth cams at clubs? They couldn't force the club to install them. They'd have to get a warrant and install them on the sly pretending to be janitors after hours. If that were the case they would make a case that the club somehow but they wouldn't have patrons names so unless you have a photo in a book downtown I'd say even on the far fetched possibility that this were true customers would be practically bulletproof. I can't imagine the lighting being too good for picture quality and as loud as the music gets audio would be useless.

Its indoors so its not technically breaking any laws. They'd have to say the club was running an unlicensed side business if they could prove the girls were made to kick back.

If the law changes I could see undercovers making regular busts till this slowed to a crawl.

I'll have to check this out it seems pretty safe plus you get to see the product before taking it for a ride, Too bad they couldn't leave and come back like a rental.

Hello fellas. I'm a long time lurker, second or third time poster. I just wanted to share my experinece at the PP this past Sunday.

After reading many reviews on this board about the PP, I decided to take a trip down there to see what was up. I've been there a few times before and have gone in the all nude room but never participated with the extras offered.

When I arrived there were about 3 of 4 girls and a few guys. It was Easter Sunday so i didn't expect much for talent there that night. I am going to be in Cranston RI area for a few days in April. I looked in the various club directories and could not find places / names anything like Flamingo Theater or PP (BB?) Anyone care to assist a fellow pilgrim?

I spent $1.50 plus the usual door/room fees.

The Flamingo Theater is in Anaheim, Calif. I knew that out-of-area reference was going to come back to haunt me. PP is Pink Palace A/K/A Cheaters -- look for it under the latter.

Will be on the Rhode Island border early Friday afternoon, and I haven't had a good lapdance in a while (been blowing my money at AMPs) so I am thinking about dropping in on CF. But as I think about it, I am not sure I wouldn't be happier at Mario's -- even if its 40 minutes further to drive. I don't really understand why we have to call Cheaters by any other name. All it does is confuse the hell out of people and we are trying to communicate with one another. I think we need to employ the KISS (keep it simple, stupid) philosophy on this board.

I may hit up Cheaters in a week when I am back down there. I was in such a need of a massage that I want to Lily's instead of a stripclub. I have to say that on my scale (looking for loving pampering, not a hit-and-run FS deal) Lily's is the best AMP I have been to in the Northeast. For the price of a trip to Angel's I had two pops and an incredible TS and massage. Only caveat was that my masseuse was fully clothed, but still very sensual. If this helps, I stopped in CF for the first time in probably 2 years...spent less than 15 minutes there and left. First, it's totally thugged out - thought I stumbled into a meeting of the Bloods. Second, I spent TEN minutes at the bar trying to get a beer. There were two women tending bar, one what counting her money and checking out, the other (grossly obese, by the way, that'll tip people of as to who she is) spent the 10 minutes gossiping with the one leaving and arranging glasses in the overhead rack (think of the visual of someone with a huge gut reaching up to hand glasses on a rack - bare belly hanging out for all to see!!). So, I put my $20 back in my pocket, used the men's room (filthy, by the way), cruised around the dance floor to see if there was any reason to stick around (there wasn't) and headed out.

CF used to be about the best club in Providence or maybe even New England...from reports here and my short stay, it's horrible now.
