I just want to add that everyone screws up, and anyone who is trying to change for the better deserves a second chance and everyone's support. Star owns her mistakes at this point. All but him received the standard slap on the wrist and a diversion program. He took it upon himself to continue to post both on USA and NR when it had a blog. It pissed the prosecutor off to no end. Instead of a diversion program he was told because of his persistence to stay on the boards and warn others about his LE experience he would face the full charge of soliciting. They used his posts in pre court meetings with his $2,000 lawyer to convince him, that no deals would be cut, thus it earned him a conviction and a record. It didn't help when a completely different provider showed e-mails to the prosecutor identifying his new handles on the boards. So the point is if caught, shut the fuck up because LE can use whatever means, even hearsay, to make life more difficult and not cut deals. Of course they can anyway, it just gives them a reason to not be nice.

However, if they can forensically link after the fact, or tap before, your computer or device to the website, and link your account to that device, and then link incoming messages to that account, it becomes much more substantial than hearsay.

Those aren't simple things however, and the likelihood that they'd do them for anything less than an [I]actual [/I]trafficking investigation, as opposed to the made up bullshit that goes by that name now, seems pretty damned small to me.

First, I think the story is bullshit. Posts here are hearsay, there is a LEGAL STANDARD to get internet content admitted as evidence if you haven't given yourself up. That process is called authentication. In it, the prosecuting whatever needs to go to somebody that can POSITIVELY authenticate a user. Generally they use the operator of the site. In our case, and not by accident, we don't require people to prove their identity so I have no idea who any of you guys are.

He really went out of his way to post a lot of information about stings and police activities. Started posting about the lady who was the LE provider in the sting. All of the other Southport Eight arrestee's were given the standard diversion program. The prosecutors went after him because he kept on posting on the boards. Even though he changed his handle they new it was him, but couldn't prove it. It pissed them off enough so much that when he went in to meet with the prosecutor about the possible diversion program, they had a book of screen prints of all his posts from all the boards. His lawyer called it Hearsay, the prosecutor called it circumstantial evidence. He refused to take the guilty plea at the time. They said we will see you in court.

Now enter a psycho provider and her past relationship with this hobbyist, not the one that bailed him out. She contacted Indy Vice and told them she had e-mails from the hobbyist where he discussed his posts and handles on the boards. She sent the e-mails to the prosecutor and they had another meeting with him and his lawyer. They told them that they were going for the maximum sentence for the crime in court if he didn't take a lesser deal that included a conviction and fine. His lawyer at this point advised him to take the lesser deal. He did and now has a record of soliciting prostitution.

Yes the Psycho providers e-mail pushed it over the edge but they were still using the screen prints of the posts on the boards. Yes the prosecutor could have gone after the maximum penalty anyway, they can anytime they want. My point is his posts pissed off LE, they were hearsay, but they used it along with other hearsay to persuade even a lawyer that it wasn't worth the risk of going to trial. It's called poker and the prosecutor played their hand very well, mainly because he pissed them off.

The monger in question works away from Indy for extensive periods of time and the prosecutor told him he would be back in court once every two-three weeks so be prepared. The hobbyist was single, imagine what leverage the prosecutor would have had if he was married. So hearsay cannot be used in court, but it sure was used, at least in this case as leverage.

By the way several senior members from this board were arrested in the sting. I guess because all the SW's were busy that day, LOL. What if LEO, and a big what if, were to take up userid's on Forums, and over time build credibility to said userid. Then, as known entities, garner PMs with various mongers who shared more than generic personal info or through real life contact get a concrete identity on a user?

Would that then be enough to make a bust or do you think it would possibly be judged as entrapment?

As long as there are no trafficking, drugs or weapons charges involved a first offense solicitation charge by itself is just a misdemeanor. That seems like a helluva lot of time, trouble and expense for the cops to go through when most likely all they would do is detain you for a short time, write you a citation then send you on your way. If you ever get caught don't admit or agree to anything. Say only these things, "I do not consent to a search", "I am going to remain silent" and after every question you ask "Am I free to go now?" First off A2 laid it out in his admonishment of my earlier post and he is absolutely correct. The server for this site is off shore and unless the US Government takes over the country it's in and closes it down then the server and all the information on it are safe. Many sites based in the United States have been shut down because of promoting prostitution or tax evasion or other reasons as seen with [URL]E.com[/URL] and Redbook. We all know about the CL changes years ago. BP is a huge target but once again the server is outside federal law enforcement's hands.

Now her lies the problem. A board similar to this one called TheReviewBoard (TRB), whose server was based in Seattle was infiltrated by federal agents and shut down. Uncle joined the site, became members, posted reviews and actually infiltrated a group of mongers who called themselves the "League". The group met at local pubs to discuss their experiences, mostly at local AMPs and uncle was invited to join them. Uncle recorded conversations and video taped the group during the meetings and the members were arrested. So this was their choice to do this. I have posted links to some news articles below. I don't know if they used PM's and social media sites as evidence in the case. I do know that FB has been used in the past in courts of law regarding bullying, assault and even terrorism. Most FB profiles identify the person beyond a reasonable doubt unless you set up a dummy FB account like many of us have. This is totally different than a handle on this board associated with a fictitious person. Uncle would have to obtain a warrant specifying your computer and e-mails and other potential evidence proving you are the person on this site.

So what does this mean? Uncle is on here and that is why establishing credibility is so important. That is why seniors get so frustrated with newbies who only ask questions and don't contribute. That is why seniors are very cautious about handing out info on UTR's and other good provider information. There is a group of mongers and some providers in Indy that hang out together, have parties together and go to clubs together. We are extremely careful with who comes into this inner circle. You have to prove yourself first. What is funny is we had a Federal Agent as a member of our group several years ago, but he proved himself by seeing several providers before we let him join our group.

The biggest problem and the biggest reason to be cautious about the hobby is, Uncle can do whatever they want. If you are at the wrong place and they don't like you there, then you can be detained for questioning or even arrested on minor charges only to be released later. It's called the hassle factor, which won't stand up in a court of law, but they delayed you and now you have to explain to someone where you were for the last 3-7 hours. A monger in Indy made an appointment at a BP advertised Asian incall and arrived right after it was busted, bad timing. He walked in the door, was confronted by LE, they detained him for 2 hours and kept his phone. He was never charged because he didn't do anything. No explicit text messages were on his phone in regards to the visit, because the Asian incall was using a screener, so no direct correlation of an appointment and service. LE finally returned his phone after 3 weeks. The positive thing was he "got the word out" to others about his phone being compromised. All the major providers were warned.

This site is safe, but be cautious and use common sense when dealing with others on this board. Uncle is hiding in the background.

He had tons of post but only about 2 review. BTW, that was me he suggest the rental car to go to an AMP in response to me just asking if they had a back door because I find like the front lot exposure and he went all cloak and dagger when a simple yes, no or I don't know would have been fine!

Some rookies like testing out the two and a half mile oval in Speedway. They come up north from the Gateway to the South to enter the race. They take a couple of laps around the track and then hit the outside wall of the fourth turn because of their inexperience and the skill of the more experienced drivers. Then they head back south and use the cool waters of the "Good River" to douse the pathetic flames of their attempt to fit in with the seasoned veterans. Hopefully they will spend the rest of their days trolling for fish in the great Cumberland lake.

His posts were a mess, and I too mocked his writing style and got flagged by A2 and also Kyowa sent me a crazy, angry message. Old fella is probably in his underground bunker somewhere.

That's a track built for oversized go carts. Everybody knows the only decent race track in the state of Indiana is Brownstown Speedway. I read somewhere that the track in Salem Indiana is having women's only racing now. I wouldn't be surprised if they expanded that to The Junkyard...damn, I mean The Brickyard in Indy. It's only fitting.

Every now and then some trolls travel south from the Hoosier state and attempt to partake in our fine Bourbon and ride our Fillies They generally over indulge and head back north and crawl back under their bridge to write blogs of their dejection after having one too many and getting bucked off. He had already competed in Formula Ford and Formula One and earned his stripes in the World Drivers' Championship long before coming to race back home.

It wasn't the Brickyard or Junkyard that one, not so fine rookie tested his rubber on, it was the Prickyard. Yet he couldn't handle the seasoned veterans. Besides what would you expect from a city named Salem to have a track only for women. I hear they burn the winners at the stake.
