And if you just can't struggle through those absurdly long posts, these 3 red flags should weed out around 95 percent of the fakes (and perhaps 5 percent of legitimate ads unfortunately) in under 10 seconds.

2. Generic or non-local location.

3. Non-local area codes.

And if the ad lists anything in metric units or mentions a deposit, you can automatically stop reading and move on.
