And separate YOU from your money! Glad you didn't get taken. I won't say ALL, but many, that require a deposit like that are often a scam. I saw that ad, but didn't contact. Waiting on some Intel about her / it. Looks a little above average for the area.
I would certainly advise against sending ANY of these girls a deposit. Once she has your money, what would be her motivation to see you?
There ARE some instances when a dep "could" be justified, ie, outcalls, future apt time slot, but for the most part, the ones that are looking for deposits are NOT going to be ones that you will ever SEE.

What happens if she is busted and your uncle gets a hold of her phone. Are you prepared to have LE show up at your house or business asking questions?

I would not take a phone tied to my bank account into the room. I suppose you could set up some firewalls just seems like more trouble than it's worth, especially considering it seems more a vector for crime than fun. 1. Booking fee. Nope. Would never go near anyone who asks for money through an app, booking fee, or any such thing. Just a strong preference on my part.
