A generous offer from a new client to spend a half hour with her may get delayed if a regular calls wanting an hour or two only at the time you've reserved.
That's when the "I thought our date was an hour later","phone died","car died","had to run an errand","went to get something to eat and won't be back on time","waiting on the babysitter" or fill in the blank occurs, but "I can be ready in an hour."
It's just business, they keep the regular happy, earn more, and probably still get your business too. The true business women are usually just better at juggling.
