HK was open as a restaurant after 5 PM Friday night. Door guys scanned my face temp and told me I had to sit at a table and order food, not allowed to walk around.
I bought a cold beer and walked around checking out the girls. Nobody stopped me. Meseros asked me to order food, I just told them I already ordered and ate it. Found about 30 girls in the club, none were wearing masks, only 1 or 2 I had seen in the past, the rest were all new, unknown girls, a few were nice, clean, pretty face, beautiful bodies, no tats. They were not watching the stripper or tipping the girls. Adelita was boring so we left quickly. There were only a few girls in Tropical and Chicago early in the evening. Nothing was going on.

1. If you're talking about paraditas, yes. I have heard that if you take a bunch (3+) they may tell you to stop. In my personal experience, I've taken two in one day and it was no hassle. I've never had a TJ escorts but I know some agencies don't send girls to cascadas. Musas is one of them.
2. HK girls are usually 80. If a girl is super hot I tell her I'll give her a tip if she does a good job. Usually results in a BBBJ and extra time but not always. Adelitas girls are usually 60. Paraditas used to be 20 for 20 but I haven't had a hot girl agree to less than 30.

Pueblo Amigo is a decent hotel / casino that's walking distance to the border. $5 cab ride or cheap Uber to HK. It's also agency-friendly. None of the good agencies or indy's will go to Zona Norte.
They will take both dollars and pesos. But the current exchange rate is the best it's been in years. So pesos will go longer now.

A friend did manage to check HK and Chicago out when they were open on Friday night. He might have went later in the evening because he didn't notice the restaurant format.

[/QUOTE]1) Cascadas (that's the hotel associated with Hong Kong) will allow guests. They are supposed to check ID and health card, but they don't always do that. Street girls can go there, but may not want to. Many of them don't like to move from "their" hotel. Escorts have long resisted going to Cascadas, or any Zona hotels. There were a few agencies who would send girls to the zona, but not many. Independent girls may or may not want to go to the zona. Many of them don't want to be seen in hooker-town. That may have changed now that business is way down. If you are planning on staying at Cascadas and are hoping to have escorts, you may want to check with them in advance to make sure they are OK with that.
2) Others have responded about prices, but just know that everything is so unstable right now there is no guarantee. Some women may take deals because they are desperate, or prices may be higher because it is dangerous and there are fewer girls working. There's no way to be sure. But pre-virus, the standard rate was indeed $80 (+/- $20) at HK. Other clubs are the same or less, depending on their quality.
3) There are a number of casinos. Caliente Casino has a presence in the Pueblo Amigo hotel and across the street. They also have a casino right on Revolution, not far from the zona. I can't recommend any because I don't gamble, but lots of guys do.
4) Unless you are good at converting numbers in your head, just stick to dollars. The small amount you will save paying in pesos is balanced by the hassle of carrying two types of currency, occasional mistakes that cost you money (overly large tips, for example), and the loss of converting any leftover pesos back to dollars. Everything in the zona and the other touristy areas of Tijuana (Revolucion, casinos) can be done with dollars.
The bars and clubs in the zona link their prices to dollars and they just raised the conversion up to 20:1 to match the lower value of the peso. There were a few months where it was really helpful to pay in pesos, but now that the peso price is up you won't save much in the clubs/hotels themselves. For bar girls, they are expecting to negotiate in dollars. Feel free to make an offer in pesos and see if they will make a deal. Some of them are good at conversions, and some are not. I've had girls ask for $80 but accept 1200 pesos ($65 at the time) -- would they have accepted $60? Who knows? I've also seen them whip out a calculator and tell me that their $80 price would be 1480 pesos (at 18.5:1) and they wouldn't take 1400. I've lost money because I didn't do the math right in my head (offering 1500 pesos rather than 1400, for example). For some guys it's a hassle, negotiating over $5-10. For some it's a game.
Where you will do better with pesos is the street girls. Very often they will quote $50 or 500 pesos (which right now is $25-ish dollars) for total service. Even basic service (clothes on, one position, no oral) is often $20 or 200 pesos.
