Obviously, no, I wouldn't have pulled my phone out to take the call inside. It would have alerted my smart watch and I'd have walked outside.

A guy I've known for about 25 years and I have talked on and off for a very long time about how we should open for a club. Some of you guys have any real business acumen then I say go for it. Really the hardest part of running a strip club I imagine is getting all the licensing up front. Then obviously dealing with the girls.

I also booked and made money off of strippers and topless waitresses and legit models though non of that was my bread and butter as I made my bones mostly off of live music, djs and variety stage acts (comics, magicians, et al). The huge hurtles imo are- getting the liquor license and of course dealing with the women is not for the faint of heart. Many girls that I booked worked at the usual suspect strip clubs and bikini bars. It's a tight rope to walk for sure. Getting seed money and investors is imo the easiest part of the equation working the place, dealing with the talent and wait staff can be very problematic. A private club that is more of a pop up might be an option. I am always willing to listen to people and their ideas though as I am a horny old toad from way back thanks stosh.

If I remember correctly, Gary shut them down. Then they tried to open up as a private bar / club but it never was the same. Pete (the owner) died not too long after that and it got tore down. Clubs like that don't really exist anymore. 15th is actually pretty tame if you compared them and if you can believe it, more upscale.
