I wanted to float an idea that another senior and I were discussing in the back channel.

It seems that we have some extreme diversity here in tastes, as well as the sorts of providers who post.

A.) On one hand, we have some very high-end ladies like Dawn, Molly, Dixie, Shelley19 (they aren't the only ones, just giving the ones who come to mind). These are the women who are fit, youthful, etc.

Be.) On the other hand, we seem to have a profusion of late of BBW, older, and more SW-type providers.

Generally, the guys who go for categories a.) and be.) comprise two different groups of clientele. Also, there is a price differential between categories a.) and be.).

I am wondering if it would be helpful to segregate the ads: One group for the higher-end ladies who are younger, slender and generally fit the "traditional concept of female beauty." Then there could be a second category for the BBWs, etc.

The point here is not to leave anyone out, but rather to categorize service providers in a meaningful way that will make it easier for ladies to find customers, and vice versa.

This is a sensitive issue, I know; but the recent influx of SW-type ads are changing the overall tone of the board. I want the board to continue to attract high-end ladies. - Streetwalker. Pretty easy to understand.

- StreetScort. These are girls who have a location and tend to be more stable than SWers but try to pretend they are escorts. Some charge accordingly and some think they are worth a lot more than they really are. It's up to us to help them determine whether they are right.

- Escort. Dawn, Molly, Candice etc. These are girls that just get the job done. Some charge more, some charge less but they are all about service and satisfaction.

I get what you're saying and what you're trying to accomplish. However, are there really that many providers that we need to start grouping them? There are probably less than 15 legitimate providers who post on here. It only seems like a lot because of the repetition. It's like a solution to a problem that doesn'f really exist. Like voter fraud.

Two other problems you will face is WHO will decide what the "acceptable / normal standards of beauty are", and who will dictate if a specific provider is "top shelf", or a "well drink". It's not just ego and pride that's riding on this. MONEY is also on the table.

I am open to discussing this, and keep an open mind. But damn! This will be a hornet's nest.

As to the use of the board, it depends on my mood. Sometimes I want that slender, athletic woman, other times, I am in the mood for something else. To try to establish a baseline for what beauty is is downright foolhardy.

For instance, you would be wrong to believe that slender and athletic is the "traditional idea of beauty." It is actually a fairly modern trend that the slender physical type has been considered "beautiful" by the general public for less than a century!

I know most don't come here for philosophy and discussion, so I won't belabor the point, but for those that want proof, pick up a copy of Soiled Doves or Goddess, Mother, Wife, and working girl as an entrance into the history of that elusive idea of beauty. Most generations before us would have laughed at what we call a "hottie." They would have described them as waif or wastrel. Slender was not considered attractive at all. If you doubt me and don't like to read, just run over to the Cincinnati Art Museum one afternoon and tour the artwork through the centuries. You will find far more Rubenesque women than thin women depicted in art. Why is that?

Let me wrap this up by saying, I like the idea of stratifying the board, but you will face two obstacles:

1) Can you really convince Jackson it is a good idea?

2) How do you determine which category a woman fits into?

PS: Ladies, do I get a discount if I am willing to sing the chorus to that West Side Story song for you before our session?

It would never work for a few reasons.

First, I'm guessing that just because an escort is older or a little heavier, that doesn't mean she want to be lumped in with the streetwalkers and / or junkies. Not that you probably care since you have no intention of seeing them and have no problem telling them how little they belong, but that comparison is still a little low, even for you.

Second, some of the streetwalkers are going to fit into your young and fit category. Junkies at the beginning of their slide might even fit into the "traditional concept of physical beauty". Doesn't mean they aren't shooting up, popping pills, or hitting the pipe.

Third, there isn't anyone who is going to set those standards or enforce them on this board and then there is going to be a ton of drama about this one shouldn't be posting in that category, etc.

You are a guy who goes primarily on looks, and who also expects a certain level of service. However, you are suggesting categorizing women only by their looks and ignoring the service aspect. And that happens to be a big problem among some of the younger girls who jump into this for quick cash. They are lookers, but they don't have half the skills they think they do and have absolutely no customer service abilities.

This board has always fluctuated back and forth in terms of quality. In fact, you have been making this exact same argument for years. However, I would say that we have a pretty good current crop of regular ladies. The fact that some of them don't post as much anymore probably (and I am just postulating here) has more to do with the way the guys behave than with the influx of new talent, or with the fact that they have more than enough business without posting ads.

About the only thing I could see that would work in voluntary differentiation would be to have a thread based upon price. Maybe over $200 and under $200. Anything else would be unworkable and result in too much nonsense.

And maybe there is another way. What I notice, though, is that the board seems to be going more and more toward the lower end of the market. Mrrdfun uses the term "streetscorts." This seems to be the direction in which the board is moving. Is this a good thing? If not, is there another way to turn it around?

I recall the old E. Com (which was shut down a few years back). Most of the escorts on there were upscale, like Dawn, Molly, and Dixie. I was hoping that USAG would evolve in the same direction. But the hotties we have today are mostly ladies who have been with us since a few years back. Look at some of the new ads and you will clearly see the change in direction. Quality, youth and beauty are on the way out here."Chubettes," cellulite, rough appearances, and super-cheap rates are in.

Even Buddha, a perceptive businessman who responds to the call of the market, seems to have gotten the message and is not offering near the caliber of ladies that he was in 2004.

We seem to moving toward a clientele who:

- Doesn't care about age / weight (I. E. Is fine with BBW)

- Is more focused on girls who "swallow" than on high-quality, model-type looks.

- Doesn't want to pay more than $100 per session.

Is this the direction in which the board wants to go? If it is, I don't think that I will stick around much longer, and neither will Dawn, Molly, Dixie, etc. If this becomes a haven for $60 streetscorts, I can guarantee you that the hot-looking girls will be gone in one year. (I have noticed that many of the hot ones who are still here are already advertising in other venues.)

The Large Canine Board was ruined a number of years back when it was taken over by a small number of "mature" escorts and a tight cadre of guys who only wanted 40+ women. (And before long, 40+ women were the only type of escort you could find there.) This board seems to be in decline as it moves away from high-end escorts, and toward low-end streetwalkers.

If there is another way to halt the decline here, please someone raise a suggestion.
