It is a nasty malware that mimics an antivirus program but hijacks your system and won't let anything work until you pay a fee. I got it and posted how I removed it. What I did was to go into safe mode and then use "System Restore" to restore my computer to a time just before I got the virus. I then downloaded malwarebytes to do a complete system scan. The free malwarebytes will just manually do a scan and remove any malware but it won't protect your computer from getting malware. For $25.00 you can get the "pro" version which actively monitors your computer and should block any further malware attacks. It's probably worth it.
