Staying the weekend with girlfriend and her kid. Looking for a decent hotel for under $75 that is not full of working girls or Crack heads. It's the opposite of if I was staying by myself, LOL. Thanks in advance.

I've stayed at the Galt House for $80, for instance. It'll be traceable to you of course, since they all want a credit card to reserve.

I have gotten a room at 21 c for $80 and they usually ask $200 or more. Galt House for $71, Brown Hotel for $80 and so on. They let you filter them by star rating, part of town, and customer recommendation. I stick with 90% recommended and always get a nice clean room. If you use their app then you can read actual customer reviews and learn a lot. If a review says there is a museum in the hotel then it has to be the 21 c. If you just want one for an hour or two drop the star rating down and recommendations down and get one just good enough. You do have to use a credit card and it is not refundable if you don't show up.
