It'll kill any bacterial issues and possibly more. Bacterial infections are a main reason gals will smell funky down there and at that point they'll need antibiotics to clear it up. Soap residue can also cause issues for the kitty, so if a guy hasn't rinsed well, this addresses this as well. As far as how much it helps the well known STDs, who knows, that's why a condom is used.
