This has been discussed several times but I never cared until now. My burner is going to be outdatted and needs to be replaced. I know there are phone apps I can get for my regular phone. I want a a static number and of course text and voice call capability. Willing to pay a few bucks if necessary (but I see some free ones or nearly free). What works good and provides safe undetectable communications? I see one called textplus that looks good. Open to suggestions.
Try Text App. I an using it. Very good.

TextMe
TextMe is decent but you have to pay 5 bucks a month to keep the line.
I use textnow. Has been reliable for a few years now.

Textnow /2nd line
TextMe is decent but you have to pay 5 bucks a month to keep the line.
Textnow is free but has ads unless you pay for ad free. As long as you use it once a month you can keep the same number. I use it and 2nd line. Have 5 numbers on each.

I have been using nextplus for years. I bought some minutes when I first started but haven't bought any since texts are free. $1. 99 a year to keep your number for a year. I have used the same number for years too, so my regulars know who I am. Yea there are ads but I can deal with it. You can upgrade to get rid of the ads.

Line 2
Google Voice.
Line 2.
Correct. Google Voice is a no brainer. And so easy!
If you already have a gmail account, and that means you already have a login for google, then get on there and setup a google voice phone number.
If you'd rather associate with a different login then do that.
Then get the Google Voice app and use It. It's totally flexible. You can forward calls, or not, screen calls, have generic voicemail, all free with your google account.

Vice
So a young lady who will remain nameless, recently lost her room. I chatted with her in depth today to get the story. Apparantly, she booked an hour and when he showed up, she was asleep. After third bang on the door, she peeked out and saw him taken his badge from his neck to put in his pocket. She avoided getting busted, but cancelled her room and has been laying low. Apparantly, cops have been heavy enforcement last month on the girls. She also told me she has heard of them trying to get girls to post for set ups. Either way, I personally plan on chilling a bit and sticking with only known / regulars. (you all might be able to guess who the person is, it really doesn't matter for the story so I won't be confirming or denying your guess). The point being if you want to avoid a mug shot, might want to be a bit more careful for thr time being.

I did the number for a year, no ads, and 250 min talk time all for like $12 or something.

I have seen a few ad's from the ladies who say no internet numbers or something like that.
