I generally agree with the recent posts that bemoan the current lack of quality options. I'm not sure if it's useful to ask "why? What changed? But I'll propose a possible answer. I believe the decline in quality options corresponds to the rise in availability and legitimacy of online sites, like Onlyfans and other webcam sites, which was accelerated by the pandemic. After all, providers take some risk in meeting with clients in person. Some risk of mistreatment or violence, some risk of being stiffed payment, some risk of being stood up. (Don't get me wrong: we clients take essentially the same risks!) So if a provider has the option to either meet a client in person and take those risks, or stay in her bedroom with a ring light and a cell phone, I can't blame her for choosing to stay in. Unfortunately, if this theory is right, then there's not much we can do about it (short of not patronizing such sites), but at least we'd understand what's going on. And at least we'd know that this lack of options is likely to persist for a while.
