But have never actually heard it first hand from someone to have actually gotten robbed.

I've also heard from hobby friends of girls that threaten. Either calling front desk, cops, or boyfriends- when the girls are being called on their bs or trying to pull a scam. It is always better to be safe than sorry, though I don't think I'd be smart enough to pay, turn the cheak and leave. If the pics are fake there's no way I'm going to give her a donation, man. WTF! She actually felt entitled to something? And threatened you?

I'm not sure how smart it would be for people to be robbing guys if they have a room rented, plus posted online. Can't this be traced / connected to them? Perhaps avg guy would want to avoid potential headaches of going through with reporting them. Shame if they are getting away with this garbage. I wouldn't recommend anything that would put a fellow hobby in danger, but I'm personally going stricter on my "no fake pics-no bait and switch" rule. Stay safe

Hey, castle- I wouldn't ask too many specific questions on a first call, before meeting her. Asking if she used to live somewhere else and do this and that- that might freak her out. She just kept saying "give me my donation" over and over and I was starting to fear for my safety. There could have been anyone around the corner ready to attack me. Or else I would have easily knocked the ***** out and left. I told her she wasnt the one in the ad, not even close and she told me I must have called the wrong number but that I wasted her time (even though I drove to her) so she wants her donation. She was also blocking the door. I told her I wanted to go get the donation out of my car but she wanted to keep my phone while I was gone. If I was downtown or something, I might have made another move. But I was in the hood and seriously felt I was going to get jumped when I left. Scariest shit ever.
