That location is close to the local bird cage and also nearby AGR where many work release (and ex-work release) ladies work. Yes you will sometimes find displaced workers there and they can be great fun. Work release bunnies have to be careful or they'll be sent back upstate. Is that all discount motels managers on 4th st and 34st know the trick how to handle bunnies. Because bunnies try to escape from fox and change their cave frequently, all of them knows more than a dozen of cheap motel managers who are bunny-friendly. All the US.
Cities have the same culture. I would think Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration should put this business practice into their text book so that hotel manager understand this culture.
