Approximately 5 drives down the K and back. Took me over an hour and a half because of LE and Uncle. Holy crap! Saw 4 SW, one immediately upon hitting the K. Yea, I've tried the Budget Inn, it was a little too budget for me. I can get a room at the Quality Inn for $50 with a discount code (don't have it with me right now--I found it online with a quick Google search) and I can get a non-smoking room (although unfortunately my guests are rarely non-smokers) that actually does have heat. I was surprised to see that US Airways pilots and crew stay there!
