So coming to Vegas early next week and I think after perusing this board a LH visit is my most likely opportunity for fun, unless I win money in the casino.
That being said, how easy is to get to one of these places from the strip if you don't have a rental car? Feel free to PM me and I don't need an address but if at least the nearest intersection or landmark so I can plot my journey.
Personally I would not do it.
The places are located all over LV although there is a concentration of a few around Tropicana x Decatur. The problem isn't so much location but how these places operate. Even if they agree to specific time, it's bullshit and you still might have to wait once you get there. And loitering around these apartment complexes in middle of summer for 20 minutes isn't my fave thing to do. Then there's always problem of fake pics and person at door is way fat / old / gross.
With car, going to nearby LH isn't bad but seems like costs might keep climbing if you do this with Uber. The Trop x Decatur area isn't super close to me so I'll only go if I'm already going to area for another reason.

It should be a bit cooler so it shouldn't be that bad. The ones near Valley View / Tropicana, Decatur. And Flamingo are not really ghetto. Everything CreamPieSeeker is saying is true. You might not like the chick and then need to go to another one. But maybe once you have the address take a bus from the strip again I do it all the time.

Even if I venture out and waste an hour, it's not that big of a deal.

I am on same boat. No rental car. Not sure how safe and practical to go to LH with bus and then walk. I heard few of them are not in safe neighborhood. IMO. If you walk. It becomes bit suspicious for neighbors and cop.
