For me it has been people trying to charge even higher rates to do an OC, I live in a area where I am 7-15 min from all of the hotels / motels and these tricks think I am going to pay an extra hundred or more for them to come to me LOL also it's super slim pickings for any sort of GFE activity traveling so I am just going to wait until the vultures starve them selves out.

When I went to Cali last year there was no shortage of hot GFE action and everyone I reached out to was fast to respond and able to set something up within an hour, Out here I feel like I am lucky if I hear back from someone in 1-3 days for a multi hour thing.

Same. I'm finding providers to be lazy, lacking effort and seemingly don't care if they get my business or not. Throw in some attitude and I'm just generally done with it. I've also been having a more difficulty finding bare service and I'm just not willing to pay a crazy amount if I do find one who is interested. My hobbying has pretty much gone down to zero which is wild for how active I used to be.

Low effort, terrible communication, high entitlement. You have to bend over backwards and lower your standards dramatically for people that likely don't deserve a fraction of the attention they get. I honestly think it's the area itself and the demographics, especially when you see other cities have nowhere near the same problems we do.

There are lots of little cliques here and a lot of girls don't play outside those cliques. So if you are on the outside looking in there is no good way to get inside.

I never realized this until I spent a winter in LA and had more pussy than I had in the previous five in Seattle. And better. Some of that is because every sort-of-hawt girl decides she needs to go to LA to be a movie star at some point and a lot of them land there and end up underemployed and often bored.

I do think the shitty civilian dating market makes the providing also shitty.

No idea why people around here feel so entitled but anytime I leave town I can actually have a decent conversation with a woman, whether I'm wanting to hook up with them or not. Around here it's almost impossible to just have a decent conversation.

There is an entitlement attitude in Portland and Seattle among the sex worker community that has really warped the market. They are killing drmand and think that the solution to lost income is to raise prices for the customers that remain. The GPS board exemplifies this problem but was not the source. I don't know if it is feminism or what, but I have seen for at least 10 years a very concerted effort by strippers and 8-ish years by escorts to jack up rates relentlessly. All the while complaining that its slow in the clubs or on the boards. Covid certainly didn't help. Strippers charging crazy amounts for lap dances. Escorts charging crazy amounts to fuck. The diversification of SW into things like baristas making money making coffee in skimpy outfits (and online SW has given girls more options. But the problem started before those became much of a thing.

When you have such a high number of technically savvy but soft, socially awkward guys, a ton of entitled and jaded women result that seems to permeate in all aspects of interactions and services. People here are not able to handle conflicts nor communicate well at all so ghosting and flaking is normalized. I've also read so many stories of women showing much more intention with dating literally anywhere other than the PNW. I firmly believe many here wouldn't even need to be in the hobby scene if living elsewhere due to options (though a few of you would get your kicks still).

Unfortunately I don't think any of this will change anytime soon unless there's a massive culture / demographic shift.

So rates will continue to rise until providers price themselves out completely and have to find alternate employment.

If you're willing to drive a few hours, Vancouver has a better selection of girls than Seattle does. On average prettier and slightly more attentive (not as good as LA though). Because escorting is also semi legal up there, most but not all girls are more willing to discuss menu beforehand which is nice as someone who really enjoys Greek. The exchange rate also makes it a little cheaper. The problem is though, BBFS is pretty much nonexistent up there in my experience. Just no where comes even remotely close to how good the BBFS scene is compared to Las Vegas and LA. Girls who are worth their salt are more likely to move to those cities because of the thriving scenes. I've booked a few pornstars that have come through Seattle for tours and they all generally say that at least for the high end pornstar provider niche, that Seattle is a bad city as they find it hard to get enough bookings to make it worth their time. Which I think having a good thriving high end BBFS niche is what we're missing here in Seattle as that creates a trickle down effect to more affordable BBFS providers. It provides enough of a foundational demand for BBFS while also keeping providers who can't fit the high end provider niche in check so their prices don't reach absurd levels. If you can creampie someone like Haley Reed for 2 grand, then some random 6/10 is going to have to keep their price low to get enough business.

Since Brenna Sparks is pretty much the only BBFS provider in Seattle I like, I've pretty much stopped seeing providers entirely. With how expensive it's becoming, with how shitty and small our selection is here, and because the economy is very likely to hit a major recession, this hobby just doesn't seem worth it anymore. At least not here.

Leolist has its pictures for the girls ads blocked so you're going to need to use a VPN and choose a Canadian IP. Leolist does have scams / fakes so you'll need to do homework on girls first. Perb. Cc is a good review board for Vancouver, I recommend checking that out but I also recommend not telling people on that board that you're American as we aren't very welcome for very obvious reasons. Plus with the rate exchange you can do pretty well. 375 after the rate exchange can get you two rounds of cip with a hot little thing. Non-asian bare isn't as prevalent.

Instead, we see this constant stigmatization, analyzing menus, figuring out who allows it and who doesn't, etc., that likely results in people being more risky and / or testing less.

You do see some providers openly ask for results for VIP in their ads, but it's nowhere near the norm. I feel like the ones that do are gems because it just completely takes out the guessing game AND is responsible. I know some of us like the thrill of eventual access after being denied meeting someone initially, but sometimes you just get tired of the games too.
