I'm new to this site but not to the hobby. I've see a lot of the local lady's and have had a lot of fun doing so. There are some amazing girls in ktown. I hope to be a plus to this site and add some truthful reviews, but for all you guys who know me from the other local site. Thanks for the invite here, and for you who don't know me. Bluford[/QUOTE]Typically, I try to look back at WHAT the person has posted; if they have 12 posts, but every one is "Can anyone recommend someone?" or "What about this girl?" with no useful reviews or information, I'm not going to pass any info to them. OTOH, if they have 12 posts, and 8 or 9 of them are reviews and/or useful information, then I will at least consider whether or not to pass information to them.
A couple ways to avoid this a little? When you post about someone who doesn't advertise, you can say "seniors and trusted friends" or words to that effect. Then if JoeBlow with 1 (or zero!) posts asks you for digits, you don't have to feel bad at all about ignoring him. And of course, if she advertises, just tell him to go look at her ad!
I've been watching your posts, Bluford; you are quickly becoming someone who is respected for providing good reviews and plentiful knowledge. Keep up the good work!

I think I've made enough posts to pretty conclusively prove that I'm a hobbyist and not Leo.
But, some people here like me and some don't.

So I have noticed a trend on the site. A lot of seniors bashing others, re-hashing already dead reviews, and not contributing much as for new reviews. I see "trusted senior member" reporting information that is mostly obvious info. Such as a list of ads checked on Google or Tineye. Understandably decent info. But a non review none the less. I have been bashed for similar accusations by these seniors. I have thick skin so I don't care, but as a regular member, I question whether the so called trusted seniors ever get out in the field. I'm sure they visit their utr or atf as I do also. But I also TOFFT often as possible and report unless requested otherwise. In saying this, I have a challenge to all. Get in the field and report. I have and will continue to do the same. My inbox is empty, and I expect some flack t come my way for these comments. I am after all "just a regular". Just remember, opinions are like assholes, we all have them. But I am just an asshole with opinions.

The requirements to become a senior aren't that strict: 25 posts and 6 months membership; hence the hedging on providing information based on prior posts.
As far as lists of ads researched, I've gotten a lot of thanks for those, as the others who research probably do; my work schedule has been hectic enough lately that I haven't had time to post as much as I used to, but a lot of guys appreciate someone doing some of the legwork for them so they don't have to spend the time doing it. I frankly give more credence to guys who do that research and post than to those who just say "Spoon feed me because I'm not willing to lift a finger to do ANY research", and significantly more weight is given to guys who are out there and reporting on their actual experiences.
Sure, the bashing and re-hashing occurs, usually in 2-3 day long increments, and then we get back to discussing mongering; oftentimes the re-hashes come when a newby asks about someone who has had a lot of discussion over the past year, and that's oftentimes when the newby bashing occurs, too. That little "Search Thread" tool below the page numbers works reasonably well, and the Seniors get annoyed when someone isn't willing to take 1-2 minutes and search before they just ask "Hey, can anyone tell me about (fill in the blank)?", and there was a review of her on the previous page.
So, to answer your post, the seniors who have regularly posted about their exploits since the time they joined will continue to do so, and those that are more passive and just use the forum for research will probably continue to do that. A couple non-seniors have been doing a LOT of legwork lately: Bluford and KnoxTNMan, and their research is appreciated.
