Everyone's situation is different and what may work for one could cause a disaster for another. I use GV too and in my case it suits my situation very well. There is a setting that changes the voice call caller ID from real number to GV number but I forget which one it is. I called my work phone from GV several times until I got it to where the caller ID was showing my GV number.

Could you elaborate on the app and how you are using it?

In addition to those rules, when I got my TracFone several years ago I went online to set it up. You can use any address you want to use I used one in a different area code from where I live, used a fake name, and address. One of my worst nightmares is being the last client before a provider ODs or something and the police start searching phone activity. If they even decide to. Since it isn't uncommon for girls in this line of work to do hard drugs, police will probably not start hunting down johns over a prostitute overdosing on heroin. But what about if the girl is murdered? Police will definitely start tracking down all of her recent clients, and possibly even older clients. And I doubt a burner, unless used maybe once for that specific girl a very long time ago, will help you cover your tracks from being questioned. If you use the same burner as a regular phone, just to contact providers however, you are traceable. It's not really a "throwaway phone" then. You have enough activity to be found. Seriously, a second phone will not help you hide yourself from police or government if that is what anybody is trying to do.
