3 arrested in robbery may be linked to others

Three men arrested in the armed robbery of a Chinatown massage parlor early Monday may be responsible for several similar holdups, police said yesterday.
Anthony Oliver, 27; Jermaine Robinson, 23; and Hakeen Willis, 28, allegedly posed as clients at New World Spa Massage on the 1200 block of Race Street. Once inside, they pulled out handguns and demanded cash.
Police received a 911 call at 2:53 a.m. reporting a robbery in progress and arrived before the robbers could flee.
The men barricaded themselves inside along with employees and several patrons. After a brief standoff with police, Oliver and Robinson surrendered. Willis escaped to the roof, where police found him at daybreak. No weapons were recovered.
"We expect additional charges will be filed for at least two other jobs," said Lt. Frank Vanore, spokesman for the Police Department. "One on the 400 block of North Ninth and the other in the unit block of North 10th Street."
He said that additional robberies could also fit the pattern.
These guys were holding up AMPs and recently were holed up in an AMP at 230am with "guests" and employees. In some robberies, they have taken cell phones and such. Fortunately, they were busted recently.

I have always felt very safe in an AMP environment (until reading this).

I thought these places were run by the Chinese gangs, they usually are pretty tight about protection and if there is an incident with a gun it's normally them hitting up the owner not the patrons. I wouldn't be surprised if these guys get found fucked up in their cell.

The reason I say this is I have never seen a Chinese girl working in a Korean AMP. And I have never seen a Korean girl working in a Chinese AMP.
But I have seen Vietnamese and Thai and Japanese girls all working at both Korean and Japanese AMPs. I have yet to see a Filipina AMP girl in USA.

Ever hear of a 7/11 being robbed? How about a bank & they have cameras everywhere and security guards. How about jewelry stores? Robberies take place everywhere.
This appears to be the same group of guys who robbed all the places. They are now in custody and off the street.

I'm not trying to stress anyone out, if I did sorry. My posts were pure speculation and I have no idea who or what, if anyone or anything, runs the show in Chinatown it was just a random thought typed on the keyboard. Now I think I'll get a rubdown.

I'm planning on going to Apple Spa tomorrow after reading through the more recent posts in this thread. Any tips I could get (assuming someone logs on here before dinnertime tomorrow)? I've read a couple threads in other forums but I'm a first timer and still a bit nervous. The last report said it was a good massage, which I've been getting monthly anyway, so worst case I just feel like a loser.

K-Amps are a Korean Operation, start to finish.
Chinese mps are Chinese, start to finish.
Now and then, now and then, a 1/2 K-gal and 1/2 Japanese gal
may work at a Korean Amp, and infrequently, when they are short handed
or if the amp is stand-alone (not part of the K-gang operation) a Chinese
woman may work for a short time. And more often a Thai girl.
But generally, they do not mix and certainly would not accept
protection from the other nationality.

For those that have gone to the RMP on the corner of Bustleton and Lindenhurst, or have plans to go there. I went there last night for a quick 30 since i was busy.
Anyway, I was worked on by Janet and this was my 3rd time there (see my other posts about it). After the flip she asked me what kind of service I received last time. I told her it was just topless HJ for .8. She asked if I would like anything else. I was able to get some details from her, that may only be her and not all the girls there.

I visited a couple places through last week heres the report.
I went to my 2 favorite places 18th and Ludlow/18th and Rainstead.

I'm visiting from Chicago and need some advice on AMPs while on vacation. I've looked at the recent boards and am probably going to visit Reading while here because of good reports and I saw the post about CH3. There's one that advertises on CL in Lansdale that looks tempting, but most without reports seem to be ripoffs. Sure resume your discussion, I stand by my statement, I don't find racial slurs funny period, just my opinion, not psychologic whatever, just crass and uncalled for and a violation of the site rules. Was in town for the day and took the opportunity to visit one of the massage places in town. I was able to go to 1233(? ) and spent some time with Kelly. She was taller than usual for an AMP lady, almost as tall as me. Her English was not the best but we managed to communicate just fine. Had a nice table shower and then back to the room for an OK massage. What I liked best about this visit was that she never asked me how much at the end of the massage, on the flip she was already nude and just went to her business. While it was not the best experience I have, she was a bit more aggressive during the service, but she was cute and my visit was above average for an AMP experience for me. Again, loved that money was never discussed and was able to tip her what I felt was fine.
$60 house fee and I tipped $120 for her efforts. I would repeat when back in town. She thanked me for my tip as well.
I was wondering if there are any active AMPs south of South St. We all know the places in Center City and North of Vine St. I was thinking that there must be, with all the great SE Asian restaurants there must be some great SE Asian AMPs nearby. Please let me know if you have found any.

I have done some searching on the boards but can't dig up much current 411. I am coming to town on business just after the Xmas and seek a lovely, discreet, preferably Asian outcall massage therapist.
