The problem I have with your statement is that if the standard prices are 40/60/100 and someone starts paying 100/150/200 then that is what they start expecting from everyone. I had one place I used to go to and for a long time it was the 40/60/100 rates then the last time I was told that the prices now start at 100. 100 for a damn hj she better be using a gold glove. What I'm trying to say is if you have money to spare please think of those of us who don't have money coming out of our ass.

He just gave an example of the differences of different shops. Its kinda like CL and others each provider charges differently and I for one can tell you if one offers 400 an hour or the other charges 100-- Im calling the 100 an hour chick.

I'm not saying that you should pay any more than the going fare. When I talk about Osaka I said that I paid a bit more than the $40/$60 that was the 'set rate'. I paid a bit more because the providers I frequented went way above and beyond the standard level of service for this area.

If I go out to a restaurant and some wait person bends over backwards to make sure I never have to want for anything during my meal you can bet I'll tip upwards of 20%.

That doesn't mean I won't leave 10% or less for poor service. Why should I tip some young hottie high dollars for dead fish service? Let's face it, even the local hotties are not all that great on a world wide scale. Performance counts, or at least it does until I get too old to pull elsewhere.

I go to AMPs for service, not because it's the best place to find hot Asians. That would be, in fact, Asia.

If hotties were the only factor I could go to Bangkok for a couple grand and bang a Thai Penthouse Pet at Poseidon Entertainment Complex.

Trust me, local talent doesn't remotely compare.

I have found that tipping for great service at an establishment gets you a positive reputation that feeds on itself. When the performance doesn't live up to expectations, then the tipping follows the negative experience. But a good tipping reputation is a great ice breaker when new talent comes in. The mamasan lets the new ladies know you will pay to play. If that happens to go outside someone's price range, then sorry, but too bad. It's not to give someone else a bad time, it's just to ensure myself of a great time. And it works like a charm. Setting yourself apart from the crowd has never seemed like a bad thing to me. When you do it in other ways as well, like being polite and respectful, it seems to go a long way. I would rather have less frequent encounters and enjoy them more. Kind of the quality vs quantity debate.

I respect everyone's opinion on this topic. However, I must say that 60 for a handshake is, in most cases, too much; and 100 is ridiculous. Of course, there are always exceptional circumstances. For example, an extremely beautiful girl, or the handshake lasts for an unusually long time.

After the Osaka bust, people have been reluctant to post a whole lot of info. I miss Osaka so much I think about it every day and it angers me. I'm also pissed I didn't discover it long before. I think I only got to enjoy it for less than a year. Man, I miss Yumi and Tina.

The area of Ohio that you mention is a bit infamous for its connections to old world families with names ending in vowels. Ok, you guys have a good point about my question on Gold Spa. I have not tried it since the light turned back on. I don't know if it was open 24 hours before. I went instead last night to Aloha on Ulmerton because I know that place is worth it. One of these days I will give Gold a shot, but I was looking for a sure thing last night. You are not going to get anything special there, it's a run of the mill AMP that relies on quick turnover and guys who don't know any better. The only reason I kept going back was the first girl I saw there. She was fantastic and I kept returning hoping for the same treatment.

The one on Kennedy in the strip mall on the north side of the road. The name escapes me. Not Bangkok, that is long since closed. And its not the one near the corner of Mabry and Kennedy. It has a Japanese name. Anyway, Everything is available there but they are heavy on the upselling and pushy about $. The girls are beautiful and they take good care of you but the prices are premium.

That Hawaiian joint behind BK on Ulmerton. They have a sauna, not a steam room. I love that because it gets me dry. Often, at other places, after the TS I get back to the room and I start to shiver because I am still a little wet and it's so freaking cold. I have never had anything less that wonderful service there, she even layed out a reasonable (considering the competition) price list for all services yesterday. Basically three levels of service. I am not sure if those are bare bones services as I am a bottom tier guy (though I strayed to middle tier once at a place who's name I still can't recall). Mamasan is friendly and struck up a conversation about the economy as she led me to my room. I guess she is feeling the pinch too. The rooms are huge. Sunshine is very talented.

Gold was great before. Nice rooms, great massages, pretty girls but a little pricy and somewhat pushy.

I hope I haven't gotten too detailed here. I don't want to ruin anything. On the other hand I hope some of you find this helpful. It's a fine line. How much to say without causing trouble for the spas.

Longtime monger here but new to the forum. After reading several reports about Tina at Oxygen, I went over to check her out. As luck would have it, she was the one who greeted me at the door. TS and massage were adequate, nothing special. On the flip she provided a normal HJ, nothing special. She was not receptive to being touched beyond rubbing her legs. I had several beers before going there so it took a little extra time to finish the deed. Mission accomplished and left a 40 tip. Not sure why everyone claims she is so sensual in her profession. After drawing a couple of strikes at other places (see St Pete reports), I drove back across Gandy and up Westshore. Sure enough, Gold Spa was lit up for business although there were no cars in lot. I always had trouble getting an appointment in this place before, usually told to come back at another hour or day because they were busy.

They aren't yet taking credit cards, but were happy to take cash. Pricing is typical. I only saw the mamasan at the door, so took a chance on the talent.

My attendant was about average, not great given previous talent, and definitely high mileage. I have a theory about AMPs: you can judge how long a woman has worked with your eyes closed. Just listen for how raspy their voice is from long hours spent sucking down nicotine while playing cards or watching Korean videos in the back room. You can also typically determine what services will be on offer by the way that they dress.

Leeann had a deep, raspy voice, and was wearing a spandex leotard with a matching black blouse. Not exactly my first choice options, but I decided to stay in there and take one for the team. She was probably quite pretty when she was younger, but the smile was a bit forced and the outfit was not flattering to her.

She had large, strong hands though, and the massage was decent. They have only been open for about a week and you can tell there is some residual tension about the place from both staff members I spoke with. She asked where I'd been before and I mentioned different parts of town. She said that there are a lot places in Tampa and a lot of competition. I apologise for not using that as an excuse to suggest lowering their prices.

Eventually we shook hands and said our goodbyes, and although it was not exactly the experience I was looking for, you couldn't say I wasn't satisfied with the service. I'd say it's similar to Oxygen, nice rooms, very clean environment, but don't expect too much. It might evolve over time but they are just a bit antsy right now, understandably so.

I have passed this place on Kennedy Blvd many times but have never heard anything about it. My preferred provider was unavailable Saturday night so I made my way over to Nagoya. I was greeted at the door by a weather beaten mamasan. Strike 1. I asked if I could pick the girl and mamasan said yes and called another woman to the front. The woman who appeared introduced herself as Judy. She was about 5 ft 3, shoulder length hair, mid 40s, and a very friendly personality. I used to be quite active on worldsexguide.org a couple of years ago. Left for a couple of months. When I retuned, I found little or no activity on that board. I've been quite active on another board since then. I stumbled on this board about a week ago while searching a new provider I found, and saw some familier names. Including Jackson. I'm wondering if the board just got connected to another search engine. (That's about the limit of my computer technology)

Now, as far as newbies having info and sharing. This board is loaded with comments criticizing newbies for asking questions and not contributing. I suspect that your seeing mongers just trying to comply.
