But I always thought that senior members of this site would get a 10% discount. Now some providers will honor that and some won't. But I agree that you are the one providing the services therefore you should charge and receive what you are asking for. As far as being stood up there no excuse for it. From provider or clients. I know shit happens and my phone died or I need a babysitter excuse. But the way I feel is that were are supposed to be adults and therefore know where we need to be at set time. And if you can't then you need to let that person know. Hope it get better for you and experienceless problems

I feel your pain every day in my job! And so does every phone solicitor, car salesmen, realtor, loan officer, and other commissioned sales rep. Like it or not, that is the reality of the society and economic situation in our country. Also remember, SHIT HAPPENS! Everyday more and more out of control shit happens in life! It isn't right, but it is reality.

There are many people out there that also feel your pain Sylvie. Hopefully everyone that puts up this kind of crap in their job will make an extra effort to be more considerate!

Jackson needs to have a section where we can post the informaton we have on creeps so other providers can avoid them, from no shows, to non payers, to these scary types.

This kind of crap happens to providers, so it is what it is, but we are going to step our game to protect ourselves.

As it is, there are enough providers on the boards now that it shouldn't be hard to make a list of them and share your info via PMs. And, honestly, this information could be posted in general reports or rants and raves too. No one should ever be raped under any circumstances. Because of the circumstances in your case, your ability to prosecute it is practically nil, which is unfortunate.

Unlike some others on here, I don't have any qualms about putting my money down upfront, for the very reason that I understand providers have a legitimate risk of being ripped off and are at a disadvantage physically in any altercation (at least I am unlikely to be attracted to a provider who could beat me up.). This has caused me to lose some money, but I do actually think it's fair.

That pisses me off too, since I have seen both Crissie and Erika and both gave great service. There are too many assholes in cincy

Sorry, I just don't think it's good practice to pay up front. I don't pay my barber, dentist, lawyer, plumber, contractor, accountant, etc, etc, up front. I don't think you pay (or tip) for a service before it is received. I understand that some providers are worried about being ripped off, just as some of us are worried about non performance of services contracted. Being in business requires taking financial risks, but in no way should it ever be a risk to safety.

I also believe that a seller has the right to set his, or her, price no matter what is being sold. The buyer also has the right to ask if a better deal or discount is available. If not available the seller should just say no, then it's up to the buyer to decide to proceed with the transaction or not. It's the way businesses operate, especially a personal service service business.

Obviously if buyers, sellers and posters would just treat each other with respect this board, this business and this hobby would be much more enjoyable.

That's my 2 cents.

To answer Sylvie's question, one possible answer for not shaving or trimming things neatly is that they may have a wife or girlfriend. It is no secret that many "attached" guys hobby for the oral sex. They may not be getting that at home. That can put them in a bind if they have never shaved or trimmed before down there.

Try to think like the other woman for a moment. Just imagine how many red flags that would set off if your husband or boyfriend suddenly began shaving or trimming down there, and also being keenly aware that you were not giving him blowjobs and that it was a hot-point in your relationship?

That is no excuse for not being clean though. Just one reason why a guy might not be doing radical changes in his grooming.

Luckily, I have a perfect excuse, being a bit overweight-pubic hair has chaffing issues.

And, in at least some of those other cases, a retainer or upfront insurance information is required. So I'm not sure the analogy on upfront payment is quite spot on.

By the nature of this board, we hear a lot about the ripoffs of customers by providers. But my guess is that it happens the other way around a lot more often.

Just sayin, I haven't always paid upfront, but will do so if asked and the situation feels right.

B[/QUOTE]This topic is often batted around on boards like this. Usually there are folks that are adamant one way or another, and it is usually because they have had a bad experience in the past. For the ladies, that means some guy manages to get the services from a gal, and then claims he left his wallet down in the car, and poof, he is in the wind. For the gents, it means they have been cashed and dashed, or even worse, rolled by a pimp or boyfriend for everything they had on them, and get the wonderful parting gift of a few bruises or a concussion.

There are valid points to both sides of the argument about when payment should be made.

That is why, it is smart to rely on the Switzerland approach for first meets:

Use a white envelope-do not seal it-put the money in the envelope, tuck the flap in so that green shows (so the lady knows there isn't Monopoly money or newspaper clippings) and place the envelope where both parties can see it during the session like on the TV or drawer counter top.

When playtime is over the lady, scoops up the envelope and can count it in the bathroom when she cleans up.

No muss-no fuss.

Of course some jerk could hide singles between twenties, which goes to show you that no plan would be foolproof, but this is probably the safest approach for both parties that you can come up with, hence the staying power of the good old fashioned envelope.

Just for the record, on your poor analogy about a barber, contractor etc. First, these ladies are not exactly in the same sector of the service industry as those other professions, but even those professions often have safeguards. Especially once you are above the barber at value level, say anything over $100:

You will get no service up front from an attorney-they will ask for a retainer. Often contractors expect a deposit. You doctor usually asks for a copayment and proof of insurance BEFORE you go back to the exam room. Hell, you now have to prepay your gasoline at the pump. The reality is, very few merchants of any type trust you beyond fifty bucks.

Get over it. If the lady wants the money up front, either do as she requests, or shop around until you find a lady with a policy you like better. Good luck with that.

My clients understand that and repect me for it, I ask in my ad for no explicit questions, yet some still feel they can ask, which in turn.

Results in not seeing that particular person, please guys, give me the same respect you require. I do have a life outside of what I choose and love.

Doing to earn a living. I understand you all have questions regarding the services you are going to get, but to blatantly ask a provider via text or on the phone.

I can remember a day when providers almost never posted on this board. I often don't mind when they do, because it's often interesting. But I do mind when they start bashing each other, which adds a whole other layer of stupidity to a board that increasingly has little else. And, as I've said before, I think it rarely helps the business of any provider to get involved in debates on this board.

So, I've put Alexandria513 on my ignore list. I suggest everyone else do likewise, then follow through by actually ignoring her. She's a troll, basically. I'm going to spend a lot more time using this function broadly in the future, in fact.

I would add that I'm no white knight for Ally, haven't seen her, don't plan to because she just doesn't seem to be my type. But no one deserves to be bashed just for trying to do their business.

In fact, I'm not sure I would mind a rule in which Forum Advertisers could only post in the advertising section, plus maybe on this thread.

Left my email by mistake and got a reply where all of us here were painted with a broad brush as being less than human. Every once in a while, when things are going OK along comes a reminder of what can go wrong in a hurry and what we are sometimes dealing with. I asked about a meeting and gave my handle on this board as reference very politely. Reply was so toxic I am not going to mention it here or her name. I will never go there again.
