According to national human trafficking hotline statistics. Wisconsin comes in 39th (tied with 11 other states #s 40-50) as having <3 reported cases.
According to human trafficking map-polaris project wisconsin has 17 trafficking hotspots at least 5 of the hotspot circles are in areas with cities too small to be named on the map when fully magnafied. Other traffic hotspots include baraboo, marinette, eau claire, river falls, platt ville, beaver dam etc. Nowhere am I finding milwaukee as a hub of trafficking except local media. Our liberal media draws attention to a somewhat non issue which enables right wing factions to claim a need for increased perventative police measures which entails more profileing and constitutional rights abuses. Lets remember we're the bastards that create a demand for sex traffic. I think that most providers, 80-90% have a record. Ever since the Russian girl was located I was able to finish my hobby clock. Was able to locate 13 pics of providers that the state had in their photo album. Took my top 12 favorites and put my ATF in the 12 spot.
When I look at what all they have been arrested for, I realize just how dangerous some of them are. Some are in and out quick, within weeks or months. Other have or have been in for several years. Yes, there is actual trafficking, but it is no where near as bad as they try to portray it. What they've done is brilliantly latch on to "trafficking" as a front for their typical stings. People were starting to get bored with their pursuits of mostly victim less crimes. All you have to do is look at the results of their nationwide "trafficking" stings. There's very few minors that they find; and when they get a potential trafficking victim, like at an AMP they arrest her. Why would you be arresting a "victim?" It's mostly bullshit, but it ensures them a solid stream of cash flowing in so that they can fund their ventures.
