I've known mamasan to close shop for awhile when they take a break or if her helper leaves and she's waiting for a replacement. Sometime for a few days or a few weeks. This is a more lean independent run place not the typical hours compared to other places, flexible schedule and staff. Could be a lease / rent thing or they may have closed. Just keep your ears and eyes open.

In a couple of weeks I'll be staying near I-40 and Rte55. Any recommendations on places to visit near there?

I went by yesterday evening after calling first. They are open however, Mimi is on "vacation" even though Mamma told me she was there when I called. She couldn't tell me how long vacation would last. Sasha was there and busy Mamma offered I said no thanks.
