Safe Mongering in Honolulu

Had my very first mongering experience last week with a very hot provider from rejuve, I believe she is on vacation now. Anyway, after countless months browsing the forums, I finally decided to take the plunge while my SO was out of town. Experience was awesome, provider was awesome like the countless reviews she's been getting. However this beings first rodeo, I now feel overly paranoid about catching an STD. Don't know how likely it is, don't know how clean these girls are, or how clean their clientele are. I would presume they bang on average 6-10 guys a day, times that by a lot and they probably banged upwards of a few thousand men in their career, multiplied by the number of other providers their clients have banged in their mongering career. So this number of shared germs, bacteria and disease suddenly becomes exponential. So let me just ask you fellow senior mongers out there. I banged a hottie who's name rhymes with gallas. Banging was covered, but she let me pop in her mouth BBBJ cim. Now I'm overtly paranoid I have some kind of disease for sure, and I'm just here looking for reassurance I guess. But what would be your guys professional opinion be. I would hope everyone who participates in this recreational activity keeps it safe by getting routinely tested and if found to have caught something, they would be so courteous as to bench themselves until their problems clear up?

Take time to understand the risks you are taking, and never rely on the guy before you to be 'responsible'. I know if I catch something, I gotta own that. And in less than 3 years of mongering, I contracted my first STI, a case of Gonorrhea last fall. Unpleasant as fuck. Fortunately, it was easily cured with antibiotics. After that experience, I am even more cautious about BBFS. The only thing I can control is myself. And yeah, I get tested regularly.

And for some guys & girls things like Chlamydia may be asymptomatic (no detectable symptoms). The longest you have to wait is for a standard rapid HIV antibody test. While many people will produce enough antibodies for it to be detectable within the first month after infection, it can take up to 3 months to be detectable. It's called the window period. After possible exposure you are considered to be in the 'window period' for 3 months. After 3 months, if your test comes back clean, there is a 99.9%+ chance you are clean.

I would add that for HIV the minimum wait is 3 months; 6 months for sure. If you test negative sooner than 3 months, they will tell you to retest or they might decline testing until more time has passed depending on what you tell them about your activities. If you test negative at 6 months since your last contact, you would be considered truly negative with virtually (because no test is perfect) 100% certainty.

According to this, the reliability rating of the "rapid test" like the one in DHHC's website is only "satisfactory", and not "high":

This is where honesty on your part comes in. They only know what you tell them, that's all they have to go by. The old saying "If you lie, you're only lying to yourself" applies.

The other thing is that syphilis has 3 stages; the tertiary stage can be fatal or lead to insanity, so don't wait until it's too late. The first 2 stages pass on their own, and then there's a period with no symptoms that precedes Stage 3.

I think I saw a home HIV test at CVS. Are these test done completely at home and what is the reliability? I believe it was about $99.
