And of course none of them are. Then I say exactly, just like an employer wouldn't pay you a month in advance when you start a job, I'm not comfortable paying a month in advance hoping you'll come and see me every week so we can start by paying per visit and work up to a monthly arrangement (which you're never actually going to do).
