Maybe you should take a little more care on the business aspect before anything else transpires. That is, of course, if anything did transpire and you found out after the fact. Not siding with who did it, but in my opinion, you bear responsibility to if you got burned. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice. Shame on me.

Did you have more than one ad up with different info? I had it happen once where there was a discrepancy and the provider contacted me afterward. I was quite upset because that was not my style and I was able to pull up the conflicting ad and sent it to her. It can happen. Not to say that that is what happened here but it is possible.
