Maybe LEO doesn't want to shut RL down?
There has been a visible LEO presence around RL recently. LEO shut down HKPD recently, but RL remains open for business. So what is LEO thinking? If they were going to shut RL down, wouldn't they have done it by now? Is it possible that they just want to decrease monger traffic by showing their presence? Do they just want to show complaining neighbors that they are "doing something"? Is it possible that they don't want to shut two apartments down at the same time, because they know that will cause a huge increase in traffic at SS in a residential neighborhood? What's going on?

They are the big player in Chicago so as the Feds build the case they appear to be untouchable until all the arrest start happening. They will ding a spot her and there while they build the big case against the folks who run this. But trust me they are building that case to bring down the big player.
New girl and new location for sugar shack
So I went to SS this morning and the papa didn't respond to any of my texts to the *0666 number, I got to the door and there was a card taped to the door with 2 phone numbers on it, the one I texted with no reply and another one ending in *7742, so I tried that one and got a reply within 1 min. I was given the new address and pics of the building. The new place is about 5 min away from the old location. It's new neighbor is the Good Taste Noodle factory, so I guess we can call it the GTN place from now on? Anyways it is much cleaner and way nicer and more room in the girls room. Recent LEO Activity, NYC, and why things aren't always what they seem
This may be a post better suited for the bullshit thread but it pertains to this segment of the hobby so I'm going to post it here first. Feel free to move it if you like.
There's been quite a bit of dialogue regarding LEO activity, busts, and how it's affecting the Asian apartment scene. There's also been a lot of paranoia and most of it is unwarranted. I'll explain why.
Once upon a time, Chinese gangs like the Triads and the Tongs battled it out on the streets of NYC and San Francisco for control of the vice trade. Drugs, prostitution, human trafficking, weapons, anything they could get their hands on. However, those days are long gone. The modern Chinaman is an effeminate tech worker, developer, or possibly working in finance, and has neither the temperament nor the capacity to run a modern day operation. The men you see at the apartments are the help. They are flunkies looking to salvage themselves in America after scoring poorly on Chinese standardized testing. They are a dime a dozen and are treated as such. The busts you see taking place always involve the door guys and a few freelance girls and never the owners who insulate themselves through an elaborate system of codes using bookers situated in the mainland. This is why RL gets busted one week and opens again the next. They go through doormen the way Russia goes through tank crews.
In fact, the majority of these outfits are run by women, nearly all of whom are former workers themselves. This is as true in NYC as it is here. They are industrious, determined, and above all highly territorial and catty. And while there's no violence in the streets, there's an epic battle for control of marketshare taking place in Chicago which pales in comparison to the drama unfolding in NYC over the past year. It is ruthless and knows no bounds.
Our old friend uncle LEO and his inbred cousins, the sheriffs, catch a lot of flack in these threads, some of which is warranted, yet much of it is not. Understand that the city is inundated with gun crime and gang violence. Leadership is nonexistent and a nihilistic sociopolitical climate lead by a deranged prosecutor have lead to a record amount of homicides. There is very little appetite among the rank and file to play whack a mole with the Chinese pop and fresh, particularly because the busts are not leading to human trafficking arrests and headlines. They are instead met with a never ending stream of freelance workers who seek American monger capital for a wide range of ambitions.
While Chicago experienced a talent dip in the past several years, much of it due to the violence, NYC has experienced a renaissance of sorts, largely due to two main factors: A relaxation of prosecution due to prosecutors publicly stating a lack of interest in enforcing prostitution laws and Covid which lead to a skyrocketing of demand. However, these factors also lead to a glut of talent all chasing the same monger dollars. And this competition has lead to territorial battles which have affected both the parlors as well as the apartments. Over the past year, parlor owners in NYC have been filing claims with the division of building inspections over violations in each other's buildings. This has lead to prolonged shut downs and location and name changes. And now there are rumors of the apartment owners calling uncle LEO on one another. This is not without precedence. The recent dramatic decline of the Dallas Korean parlor scene is as much about ratting owners as it is about their new felony law.
And so you'll understand now how this leads back to our scene. The three main outfits here have been in operation for a very long time. They have changed locations as often as many of you have changed gas station dick pill brands. The residences which they choose are all in low activity commercial and Chinese dominated residential areas. In short, they evade the eyes of the suburban white women who call uncle LEO on the very same parlors their husbands are regulars at. In order for there to be an investigation, someone has to complain. And it's unlikely to be the fellow Sino neighbors who tend to keep to themselves and can likely be bought for a few hundred a month. Ask yourself why is it that HPKD got busted in an area that sees very little traffic yet RL which operates in a building known for previous LEO visits is as busy as ever. It's not because of the ridiculous shorthand codes you nerds express financial payments in nor any other degenerate monger activity. Despite the apartment busts over the past few years, mongers have always escaped unscathed. You are much more likely to face charges responding to the 100 dollar special on RR than you are visiting an apartment. Even if Tommy personally walks in and lays the hammer down while you are half deep in Lulu, her having blocked full, unrestricted, entrance due to your frugality, he is much more likely to send you on your way rather than take you in. After all, someone has to finish off Lulu.
Interesting and mostly accurate
Good post but I can comment on one aspect. I personally know one current and one former operator on a first name basis. You are correct about the men and that former working ladies getting into the management side, but from my personal contacts they were / are not run from the mainland. They are very well insolated from LE. As you say, most of the paranoia is not warranted so enjoy but always be cautious and stay safe.

Surprise at Asian Apartment
There is an Asian Apartment I have been frequenting for years around 35th and Ashland. I popped in last Monday on a whim and was pleasently surprised when I was taken to a room and a cute petite white girl walks in. I proceed to tell her in all my years of coming to this place I had never seen a girl that wasn't Asian.

Not accurate, diff RL numbers diff Pictures
First off, take your shoes off at the door.
They'll do FS for both hourly rates with 260 including other stuff like a cat bath. Though every RL booker will send you a different image. I think the only accurate one I've met was the Shelly one Charles sent. Actually enjoyed that one lmao.
Beyond that though, everything's been fine expect for the showers. Last chick I booked only sprayed some alcohol on my hands. Also the first time seeing someone use the front door in that busy street.
